Dr. Anna Janna Lavotshkin, MD

My 94 year old mother needed a new primary care doctor and after some research I reached out to Dr. Lavotskhskin's office. This was as a result of her doctor retiring and due to her medical issues she needs to be seen by an MD, not someone else in the office, which I made VERY clear on the phone. I should have known after being put on hold twice with no one coming back that it wasn't the right place for her. After waiting two weeks for an appointment my mom and her aide show up there and park, only to find out that there is no elevator in the building and she had to climb stairs, with a walker. She walks in and the receptionist asks "follow-up visit or physical?", clearly having ZERO clue what was going on. An HOUR after their scheduled appointment time they were still waiting, then come to find out that the doctor wasn't even there to see her because she had to go to the hospital. Why someone couldn't have called to let us know that and reschedule is BEYOND me. They got up and… walked out, not having seen anyone and never to return again. Pathetic. Obviously I can't speak for the doctor as no one ever met her, but not a good sign if she lets her office be run like a 3-ring circus.

She saw me for 10 min, and I got bill for $350.00. Insane. The office is dirty too. Never going back.

Dr. Lavotshkin has been my doctor for over a decade. Very knowledgeable, caring and considerate. Spend as much with the patient as needed. Pays great attention to preventive measures. Very friendly staff, easy to set up an appointment in convenient time.

My family and I have been going to Dr Lavoshkin for years. She is amazing and knows her stuff! Her daughter, Dr Znaminsky is also wonderful! Vera is friendly and always willing to help. They always help me find the root of the problem and suggest various ways to combat those issues. The only negative I have to say is about the new nurse practitioner (I forget her name). I’ve had issues with her, she rushes, she isnt empathetic and I found her to be critical.

I was recommended to Dr. Lavotshkin by a friend and I in turn have started to recommend her to others. My son who is a very difficult person to get to a doctor went to her and trust her. Due to her influence and advice he has started to correct extremely bad habits that the young usually think will never affect them. She prompted me to go to my gyn who in turn found a tumor. I have only high praise for her care and treatment of myself and my family.
