Dr. Anna-Maria Butera, DO

Dr. Butera was my Doctor for many years, I was fairly happy with her. She would try to push what she thought was best on me without taking what I felt I needed into account, but we somehow worked it out for a while. When I refused to get on all the "new" medications she was pushing on me, it all changed. Now my requests are denied and I feel completely ignored and have lost faith in the good relationship I once had with her. I do not feel comfortable putting my health in the hands of a Doctor that does not seem to care.

It pains me to write this review because I don’t want to cause harm to Dr. Butera’s professional reputation with my opinion. However, I felt it was important enough to provide feedback on my experience. Unfortunately my experience with Dr. Butera has deteriorated over the years. She initially provided quality care, and I now feel like she does not care. She does not bother to get to the bottom of symptoms after multiple complaints. And when you question something, she will reiterate 10 times that she practices "evidence-based medical practice." Her delivery when she explains things is also very abrupt and rude. I will be switching to someone else. I implore you to please go to another family doctor should you be assigned to her.

Terrible communication, follow up, and bedside manner. Rude and not knowledgeable.

Dr. Butera has poor communication skills, is rude with patients, is the type of doctor who looks at her computer screen while taking instead of at the patient, is dismissive of patient concerns, and does not seem to be very knowledgeable. She is the worst doctor I have ever had in my 43 years.

Excellent listener and works with you to resolve your medical problems.

We LOVE Dr Butera! Fantastic Doctor that allows for good conversation about issues and is open for patients that try to balance natural cures and medicine.
