Dr. Anna Maria Oniciu, MD

I’m shocked and disgusted by her unprofessional behavior. Dr. Onicui told my elementary aged overweight niece that she walks like an old man. She compared her body to her slim older sisters body in a way I can’t even discuss on the internet. I’m not sure what caused such a highly rated pediatrician to have such an unhinged attack on a child, but she clearly needs to be avoided at all costs. My poor niece is still reeling from these comments days later. I myself am a healthcare professional and I know that nutrition talks with patients need to be handled sensitively, shaming someone does more harm than good. I deeply regret that practitioners like this are in our community and urge every parent to stay far away.

Dr. Oniciu has been the physician for our two children (3 yrs & newborn) since our oldest was born. We appreciate her forthright bedside manner. She has always been attentive, encouraging, upfront and honest in the best interests of the child and parents. No drama- just first-class healthcare. I highly recommend her and Beverly Hills Pediatric as a whole.
