Hi, my name is Anna, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Pennsylvania. I specialize in bipolar, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, insomnia & sleep issues, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), life transitions, religion & spirituality, stress management. I’ve been in nursing for over 13 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at University of Pennsylvania. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. I chose to be a psych NP because I have always been interested in people and their …thoughts and behaviors, and prefer to spend my time with others in conversation, and was always sought out by friends and family as the "advice giver". This drew me to obtain a Psychology degree in college, but I realized I wanted to be in a field of service with direct patient care and sought out a second degree in nursing and I found I loved learning more about science and medications as well as caring for others. I decided that becoming a PMHNP would allow me to practice in Psychiatry and continue to care for others, and I feel so grateful to have done so because I love what I do.

My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process. I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
