Dr. Anna Rosa Mcnanley, MD

Went in because of a few issues that have greatly affected my quality of life. She focused on one thing and disregarded everything else. I felt like I was wasting her time. My appointment pretty much left me no better than when I went in.

I went to see Dr. McNanley with a urinary retention problem. I found her to be a very caring, thorough care giver. My problem was not an easy one but she listened to my history and worked through the necessary tests to come to a conclusion as to my problem. Just to be certain she recommended I see another Dr. to review my records. The second Dr. was in agreement with Dr. McNanley. Not only did I find Dr. McNanley a caring compassionate physician, her team of nurses and support staff were equally as easy to work with and very helpful. If I called the office with a question I heard back rather promptly. A truly supportive environment.

I saw Dr. Nanley for a second opinion for my persistent incontinence problems. She is polite and well-educated, but is very young and â??by the bookâ??. Rather than listening to me, she insisted on redoing painful and invasive tests that I recently had done at the U of M. She implied that my pain from having a catheter inserted was all in my head and couldnâ??t understand why I didnâ??t leak when I coughed while I was laying down. No matter how much I tried to explain my issues and history to her, she simply would not listen to me. It was like talking to a wall. Having gone through the pain and expensive of a urodynamics test just a month before, I chose not to subject myself to that torture again and found a different provider.

Dr. McNanley proved gentle, gave clear information that was easy to understand, responses were friendly and warm to my concerns and questions. Will return for further care
