Dr. Anna J Rhee, MD

Dr Rhee was my OB from June 2024 until November 20th 2024. Although she is good at what she does. Her abruptness and dismissive attitude made it difficult to continue prenatal care. I did not feel heard or my bodily autonomy respected. Hence why I transfer care late in pregnancy.

I highly recommend Dr. Rhee as an OB. She recently delivered my son, and throughout my pregnancy and delivery, I felt very well taken care of. Dr. Rhee’s years of experience (she guessed when I’d deliver down to the exact night!) and attentiveness really shows. She is fast acting and takes immediate precautions when necessary. At 25 weeks, I had strange pain on the right side of my uterus, and Dr. Rhee took immediate action in case of preterm labor. Thankfully, I and baby was fine, but I felt very reassured by Dr. Rhee’s precaution. My delivery was very smooth and short with Dr. Rhee, and she checked up on me a few times while in postpartum care. I will be having all my children with her.

Dr. Rhee delivered my first child who was stillborn. She showed little compassion, told me it was God’s plan and asked me how my baby was doing at my first post-natal check up...because she didn’t bother to look at my file first. Then she asked me not to tell my husband she asked that. I don’t know what else to say other than I wish I had chosen a different ob/gyn. My experience with her will haunt me for life.

Simply the best! Dr.Rhee delivered all three of my children-- and many of my friends' children as well. She is so knowledgeable, and a rare combination of being a compassionate doctor and a true professional. Before giving birth, she always made time for my questions at checkin appts and oftentimes caught small details that I should be addressing for my gestational diabetes that even my GDM doctors didn't catch. Dr. Rhee was also amazing during each of my deliveries-- she has a gracefulness under pressure that only comes with years of experience and being a top OB/GYN doctor. She is also a big advocate for her patients-- on my last pregnancy I barely had time to get to the hospital but as soon as I arrived Dr. Rhee made sure that everything I wanted for my birth plan was attended to, even under that short notice (I had a baby in my arms just under an hour after I arrived at the hospital). There is a reason why I trusted Dr.Rhee with all three of my pregnancies and deliveries-- she is… truly the best and I had an amazing, positive experience every time!

Dr. Rhee is one of the best doctors I've met. She is extremely knowledgeable, direct and a true professional. She goes above and beyond for her patients and listens to any personal needs/ preferences. She guided both of my complicated pregnancies and delivered my second. I couldn't have asked for a better care! I chose to drive more than an hour each way just to keep seeing her after moving away, and I'm so glad I did. Thank you Dr. Rhee!!

Experience with Dr.Rhee has been great throughout my pregnancy/

Dr Anna Rhee was my ObyGyn for both my pregnancies. She did not deliver either of the children as she wasn’t on duty then. She sometimes was busy and rushed, however, when it matters she drops everything for you. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and knows when to step in and when she doesn’t need to. I have found that if you are polite and educated on what kind of care and birth you want she will absolutely advocate for you. Without her I doubt I would have had natural births for each baby, something I very much wanted.

i have never written a bad review before but i want to help others avoid using such a horrible doctor. thing were progressing normally with my pregnancy until the 13th weeks when I had a major hemorrhage. I met Dr Rhee in the hospital where she diagnosed the reason for bleeding due to placenta previa. she ordered me on bed rest for 10 days. After the 10 days, i had a follow up appointment where she completely forgot about the whole episode. it never made it into the notes. she pretended it was a oversight and that of course she remembered what happened. she then went to check on the baby and found there was no heartbeat @ 15 weeks. She told me she wasn't trained to do a D&E and would try to find someone to perform one in the next few days. she then asked me to leave the room bc it was a busy day at the office. i quickly drove out to a family obgyn who reviewed my scans from the hospital and confirmed I never had placenta previa. what caused my miscarriage 10 days after the bleed was a… large blod clot putting pressure on the umbilical cord, the blood clot most probably was from having a bleed and then being put on immediate bed rest. i recently needed my medical records from her office bc I am pregnant again and there are no notes on the entire situation. If you care about yourself and the safety of your unborn baby DO NOT USE DR. RHEE. SHE IS HORRIBLE AND IS NOT PROPERLY TRAINED TO HANDLE ANY KIND OF EMERGENCY SITUATION. Any obgyn can successfully handle a easy pregnancy but you want to make sure your doctor can take care of you when things get complicated.

Dr. Rhee delivered all four of my children and all the experiences have been wonderful. She and her staff are all wonderful.

The staff is mostly friendly when you are there in person. On the phone they are rude and try to rush you off. Not helpful on the phone.
