Dr. Anna M Ryan, MD

I do not like leaving negative comments but feel compelled in this case. I do want to say that I think Dr. Ryan is qualified and well-versed in dermatology but her bedside manner and follow-through was less than wonderful. Dr. Ryan was cold and made me feel, from the get-go, that I was an imposition. She ignored patches I pointed out to her, saying they were just "bumps". Those bumps have since been diagnosed as more than "bumps" by another doctor. This diagnosis, was a turning point in my treatment and should have been a no-brainer for a dermatologist. As well, when I asked about my examination, she basically told me that she knew what she was doing and it wasn't my place to question her. Finally, she did not send my exam notes to my primary care doc and did not send biopsy results to my sending doctor. To my understanding, and maybe I am wrong, this is a reportable offense.

Dr. Ryan is really incredible. She takes the time necessary and treats patients the way she would like to be treated!

If I could leave a 0 out of five stars I would. She was rude, curt, dismissive and judgmental! She didn't ask me questions or apparently read my five page health questionnaire and jumped to conclusions after a minute saying "I can't help you." She wouldn't even tell me what she thought. Luckily I'm an assertive, professional woman, so I confronted her. I'm supposed to have a follow up appointment with her, but instead I booked it with another doctor who is known to be an excellent doctor.

Enjoyed Dr Ryan very much. I felt it was a great office visit have not yet had any follow up visit. Dr Ryan made me feel very comfortable and at ease

Great office staff friendly and helpful. Dr. Ryan was very good, explained everything.

She had no knowledge of my skin condition and it was evident that she did not care. Stay away from this doctor who will give you an RX and push you out the door.
