Hi, my name is Anna, and I'm a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner serving clients in New Jersey. I specialize in depression, anxiety, maternal mental health (pre/postpartum), stress management, life transitions, burnout, chronic illness, relationsip issues, race and cultural identity, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)/trauma, life coaing, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), bipolar disorder, insomnia and sleep issues, sleep disorders, and loss, grief, and bereavement.
I’ve been in nursing for over 9 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at LaSalle University. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psyiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.
My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establising a strong, collaborative relationsip with each client, where we work together to …make informed decisions about their treatment. I chose to be a psych NP because I cannot imagine doing anyting else in my life except for helping those who are finding their way and their voice. I always wanted a career in nursing and in healthcare due to my desire and passion of wanting to help those who need it the most.
My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to aieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process, I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
