Dr. Anna Wachtel

Dr. Wachtel is a wonderful Psychiatrist. The medications she prescribed me for depression and anxiety helped me change my life for the better. I find her to be an insightful and compassionate doctor who cares about my well being. I feel comfortable speaking with her and like when she points out ways to handle stressful situations. I feel fortunate to have her as my Psychiatrist.

I have been a patient with Dr. Wachtel for over 10 years. I have tried many medications that did not work. The medications that Dr. Wachtel prescribed work great, like night and day.

Dr. Wachtel is fantastic! She truly cares about her patients and works with you to come up with solutions that actually make you feel better. Best psychiatrist I’ve ever had!

My 91 year old mother was in a deep depression and having daily severe panic attacks that ended her up in the hospital. I honestly didn’t know what to do. After reading great reviews, I reached out to Dr. Wachtel as a psychiatrist for my mom. She was so thorough, collecting all the information and following up with my mother’s doctors. She prescribed the right meds and closely monitored my mother. She has weekly check ins and within a short amount of time my mother began to feel better. She hasn’t had a panic attack in months. Dr. Wachtel goes above and beyond her job. She is rare in the medical profession because she has compassion, and truly cares. My mother loves her. She always answers my emails and concerns. I am extremely happy with how Dr. Wachtel helped my mom, and I honestly don’t think anyone else would have taken the time to really help a 91 year old woman. Dr. Wachtel is an expertise in her field and a miracle worker. I highly recommend her.

I guess I lucked out - right on my very first meeting with Dr. Anna, I knew I found the right care provider I needed. She listens and talks to you with great care and empathy.

Dr. Wachtel helped me so much during the past few years. She helped me to overcome my alcohol addiction through careful diagnosing my depression and anxiety and treating with appropriate meds that not only helped me to feel better but made me realize that that I can be myself and enjoy friends and have fun without the need of alcohol. She listens and cares how I feel. Highly recommend !

I wish I could put in words how much I value Dr. Wachtel. I am so lucky to have found her when I need help the most in my life. I have found her to be compassionate and caring as well as very knowledgeable with DBT and medication management (especially for those with addictive issues). In the short time I have been working with her she has taught me coping skills to deal with early sobriety and all that comes with it. I could not be going through this without her and though I do the work, she guide me and offers different ways on how I may approach it and think about it in new light. I cannot recommend her enough.
