Dr. Anne Elizabeth Barnard, MD

Very dismissive, does not care and any medical issue that is brought up does not get addressed. She does the absolute bare minimum. Also be careful with her billing!

I have been going to dr. Barnard for years! Beware! She will split bill you behind your back - which insurance will not cover. She will not tell you she is doing it until you get a bill from them. I disputed it and they said “she discussed exercising with you and continuing to take your medicine” which is why it was billed office visit vs wellness check. Makes no sense! Unfortunately this is the second time she has done this. So shame on me for not leaving this practice sooner! If she is going to bill you different they should be required to tell you during the visit. Very shady practice. Learn from my mistake! Find a different general practitioner! Not worth it.

After waiting two months to get into see Dr. Barnard to establish care, I had a physical. I was told to go on line to get the results. No call, no interpretation of the results - no personal attention from the Dr. I was told that she would not call me. That wasn't her way of doing things. I will not be back. I will find a doctor that cares about me enough to pick up the phone and call me and talk to me like a person. I had that before my previous Dr. retired and I will have it again.

Absolutely adore her! Everything I could ask for in a doctor. She is kind and caring, always asks about my family and remembers details about them. She never makes me feel rushed. I feel that she takes a genuine interest in me and my health!

Awesome doc!

I returned to Dr. Barnard after visiting another doctor. I wasn't very happy with the drive downtown and the parking deck but decided it is WORTH IT! Dr. Barnard is extremely caring and personable! Wouldn't go to anyone else!

I was a patient of Dr. Barnards for 9 years. Patient communication and advocacy is not a priority. I was not informed of pertinant clinical information discovered during diagnostic tests she ordered. Dr. Barnard also "job shares" with another physician, making it extremely difficult to get an appointment with her. Requests for "sick" appointments rarely yield an appointment with Dr Barnard or her partner Dr Teague within a week. . . a long time to wait if you are sick.
