Anne R. Cappola, MD

I have seen Dr. Cappola for five years and have always found her thoughtful, insightful, and caring. I have recently moved across the country and will miss her greatly and hope to find someone nearly as qualified or I may just fly back to Philly for my visits.

Dr. Cappola seems knowledgable & answered all of my questions. But, I would NOT recommend her for thyroid patients. I saw her for 18 months (!) about my Hashimoto's Disease. Every time I saw her, I told her that I did not feel well. After 18 months of adjusting my medications, she told me that she couldn't do anything more for me even though I still didn't feel completely back to my normal self. Then, I switched to an endocrinologist at a different teaching hospital. My new endocrinologist put me on a different medication without hesitation. (I changed from generic Levothyroxine to Tirosint.) Now, I feel totally normal again. If I had stayed with Cappola, I would still be struggling with thyroid symptoms.

Very caring physician. Very helpful in explaining the illness and treatment options. Highly recommended.

I found Dr. Cappola to be very personable and appropriately humorous. I liked her style and her thoroughness. I will use her in the future as my endocrinologist. I came in with some worry but was relived when I left.

I was amazed that Dr Cappola spent as much time with me as she did. I had been resisting a treatment, but she explained it to me in so clear and compelling a way that I agreed to do it. I woul recommend her to anyone with endocrine issues. She is excellent and very pleasant to work with.

at the suggestion of my internist to see an endocrinologist, Imade an appt. with Dr. Cappola. I have a serious issue whichis affecting many things in my system and she just brushed itall off as she has done many times before re other things. She has tunnel vision and very narrow focus and has no knowledge or experience with anything outside of that.Stay away from this one. I will not see her again.
