Incompetent

I had been to Dr chapas several years ago and had asked about fillers for under my eyes as I have a hollowness she first applied an anastetic then I waited 45 minutes till she came back the she proceeded to inject restalyne under my eyes she injected so much that under my eyes turned purple I called her the next day when she told me to come to her office immediately I had to drive back to Manhattan she then lasered under my eyes to break up the purple which seemed to work but left me with brusi ng that looked like I had a nose job I had to go to work like that also I showed her documentation that yr not suppose to inject restalyne underr the she dismissed it and said I had dermatitis which was a complete lie she didn't even have the decency to give me my money back or offer me any compensation I had problems under my eyes for almost a year after she is lucky I never called the medical board on her

I phoned Dr. Chapas' office to request an appointment for a consultation for some issues I've been having. I explained my needs and was asked a battery of questions including date of birth, email, etc. etc. The process took over 8 minutes which was not a problem, but seemed quite long. The very last question asked was for CREDIT CARD INFORMATION! It appears that the patient is CHARGED AHEAD OF TIME FOR A $400.00 NON REFUNDABLE FEE! I've been treated all over the world at some of the finest MEDICAL FACILITIES and seen some WONDERFUL doctors. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME EVER ENCOUNTERING A "CHARGE YOUR CARD BEFORE I SEE YOU" operation. Of course, I'll seek out a REAL MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. My my my!

The most amazing experience! Period.

Everyone at the office, from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctor to the biller, were competent, efficient and very knowledgeable, never rushed, and answered all my questions. The office is the most beautiful doctor office I have seen. Will definitely return.

I find Dr. Chapas to be very competent and responsible. She has gone out of her way to even return my calls with in 5-10 minutes to make sure all of my concerns were addressed. I strongly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a superb dermatologist.

Dr Chappas has been treating my Port Wine Stain on my face and i couldn't be more pleased with the results. Dr Chappas is great!!

Dr Chapas used a laser to remove acne scars that I had for years and had resisted every other treatment. Overall great outcome and great experience.

Dr. Chapas did two the mohs procedure on two bcc's and did a wonderful job. I feel confident in her abilities.
