Dr. Anne Cameron Coates, MD

Dr. Anne Coates specializes in pulmonology and pediatrics, bringing her expertise to both adult and pediatric respiratory care. She earned her medical degree from The Robert Larner MD College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and completed her residency at the University of Massachusetts. With 19 years of experience in practice, Dr. Coates has developed extensive knowledge in treating complex lung conditions across all age groups. She speaks English with her patients.

Dr. Coates practices at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center and The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, as well as Northern Light Mercy Hospital, all located in Portland, Maine. She focuses on treating asthma in both adults and children, along with hospital-acquired pneumonia. Her procedural expertise includes bronchodilator reversibility testing and comprehensive pulmonary function testing.
