A doctor that should not in pain

I have been seeing Dr. Fras for about 10 years for epidural injections for coccyx pain. Dr. Fras has always been very informative with me on any questions I might have. She is always willing to work with me on my pain relief. I would definitely recommend her.

They do not care about the patient. They want you to live in pain .She is very rude and doesn't let you explain why youre they, she base her information on other doctor because she doesn't want to do the work. they rather refer you place to place like you are crazy and don't no what there doing. Do not see this doctor......You will leave the way you came .A WASTE OF TIME.BAD DOCTOR BAD STAFF.

Poor at explaining. No personality. Needs to return to anaesthesiology where she doesn't have to deal too long with patients.

Unlike her support staff Dr. Fras has possibly the worst bedside manner I have ever witnessed. She did not seem to have a grasp of my medical history nor did she take the time to ask. She prescribed medications that would have caused significant life threatening medical complications had I not objected to what she suggested I take to manage my pain. Finally, she was condescending when I tried to explain why certain medications are considered banned substances due to my professional career. Seek other care!

I have been a patient of Dr. Fras for 5 or 6 months. I have transverse myelitis and one of the main symptoms is a constant pain from my waist down to my toes. The pain is not "real", so to speak. My brain is misinterpreting the signals it is getting from my body. As such finding the one medication to help me is very difficult. I will add here that my giving her only 2 stars for promptness should not be misinterpreted as something unreasonable, rather it is quite opposite. It is understandable due to her workload is huge - there are so many people in need of her expertise. And her delays are surely because she spends so much time with each patient - she is not a clock-watcher. To the point, Dr. Fras has worked very diligently and aggressively to find "that" med which will minimize my pain. She has been my empathic and compassionately with my disorder. She gives me all of the time I need and answers all of my questions directly and completely. I would have no reservations to… recommend her to anyone who is in need of a very competent, experienced and dedicated pain management specialist. .

I have been visiting Dr. Fras on and off for about three years. Dr Fras is an excellent diagnostic physician She has always been extremely tenacious about getting to the bottom of some very complex pain management issues for me. She spends as much time as she needs to answer all of my questions. She discusses treAtment options with me and we make decisions together,. I have yet to meet a physician who understands more about medications and how they can assist you in your care plan. She however does not have the best bedside manner and you must be prepared for this if you decide to use her for your pain management. She expects you to take responsibility for your care so things like biofeedback are important to her that patients complete. Just do not pass up a great pain management specialist.

Even my referring dr was disappointed in the report Dr Fras sent him, she did not answer any of his referral questions. She refused to take over management of the opioid pain medicine my family physician prescribed me to tide me over until a pain management specialist could take that over. She said my PCP could continue it, which made no sense to me, as I thought a pain management physician would be most appropriate to manage such medications. She also wanted me to do biofeedback at her clinic despite my explaining that I was from a city 2 hours away. No empathy whatsoever. I got a referral to a local pain clinic, and found a local biofeedback therapist and am doing much better now, but not with the help Dr Fras.

appalling. made a new diagnosis for me and when she was asked to elaborate she said "Look it up on the internet".my condition would not require narcotics nor was i "seeking drugs" just to be clear to readers. she gave me prescriptions that would have been correct had her diagnosis not been wrong. she is marking time to retirement and a very icy person. so you have apathy toward patients and poor diagnostic ability. yikes.
