Dr. Anne Taggart Neff

I was referred by my dr almost 2 hours away for a rare type of clot that was suspected. I had seen many Dr's before for this and even a different hematologist, but no one would listen and brushed me off within 10 minutes of meeting me. Dr. Neff was the best! Absolutely wonderful, she answered all of my questions, gave me great insight and answers, if I had questions that were out of her realm of knowledge (due to the location of what was a suspected clot being in my ovarian vein), she told me the truth instead of trying to come up with an answer. But I really felt like I left with so much more information and knowledge than I came with. She spent 2 hours with me and I appreciate every second of her time. Highly recommend!

I am in the health care industry and have never had so many negative experiences with one doctor in my life. Dr. Neff orders completely unnecessary tests, does not listen to the patient, and makes getting any other procedures done impossible. I have a very minor bleeding disorder and asked Dr. Neff to write me a letter clearing me for a minor, routine, dental procedure. She wrote a letter to my oral surgeon stating that I am not fit for the procedure (to remove a wisdom tooth) and that I put my personal calendar ahead of my health. If it were her medical opinion that I am not cleared for the procedure, that is all she needed to state in the letter. Her personal opinions on my lifestyle were unprofessional and rude. I have supported Vanderbilt financially for years and will no longer do so as long as Dr. Neff is on their staff.

Dr Neff is a wonderful, compassionate doctor who cares for her patients. she really helped me out with a rare antibody in my blood so i could finally have surgery

Dr. Neff and her staff spent more time with us discussing our issues in one visit than our primary care physician has spent in over two years of treatment. It was refreshing to be treated so well at a hospital.
