Dr. Anne Norris Ozer was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in rural Suffield, Connecticut with 5 siblings and ultimately moved to Tustin, California in 1971. Anne was a ranked competitive Synchronized Swimmer with aspirations of becoming a Marine Biologist. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Cal State Fullerton in Biology. Her career path was cemented when she met a female endodontist, Dr. Margaret Pan, who would influence her to become a dentist. Dr. Pan told her that is was a perfect career. It's “Arts and crafts in the mouth” and your patients become your “family”.
She received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California in 1984. While in Dental School, she met her husband, Steven Ozer. Drs. Norris and Ozer were married in June of 1984 and combined their practices in 1986. This combined practice strategy has allowed them to raise three sons and enabled them to be at every Spring Sing, band and orchestra concert, …parade, honor award breakfast, baseball, basketball, and water polo game. This shared practice approach has also allowed them to have greater availability for their patients. They have provided their patients through the years the same attention and comprehensive care that they would give to their own family members
Dr. Anne Norris Ozer is a member of the Los Angeles Dental Society, the California Dental Society and the American Dental Society. She is extremely proficient in all aspects of oral care from surgical techniques, to restorative and cosmetic treatments. Her warm style and expert diagnostics as well as her genuine compassion for people are her assets whether she's working with seniors or the very young.
She feels that one of the most unbelievable procedures available now are implants. “If you have lost teeth or maybe loosing a tooth... we need to talk”! Tooth loss means bone loss which ultimately means facial support loss. Her motto is that “I will treat your teeth as if they are my own.
Dr. Anne Norris Ozer is an active tennis player in a USTA league and the Marine league in the South Bay. She loves snow skiing with her whole family. For the last 25 years, she has enjoyed running in the local community 5K and 10K events and recently has begun practicing yoga and pilates to keep her upper back strong in order to combat the physical stress of practicing dentistry. She is enjoying the growth of her children and celebrates their many successes.
Dr. Norris Ozer has been practicing Dentistry for 21 years and is excited to be in their newly opened office in Manhattan Beach where friends and community members will become part of her “dental family.”
