Dr. Anne Grayson Warren Peled, MD

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Peled. Having grown up in a family of doctors, I was very picky about who I chose to do my double mastectomy. With my marriage breaking up, raising 3 teens alone and now facing breast cancer I couldn’t have found a better doctor. She was attentive and really focused on making sure I looked and felt amazing with the reconstruction. Having gone through breast cancer herself her bedside manner is not one of someone who runs a factory of breast augmentations but of an empathetic partner that knows what you are going through and supports you all along the way. I tell anyone I meet who is going through the diagnosis of cancer that she is the best choice. Her team work with her talented husband, Dr Ziv Peled, to provide nerve grafting for you to not only look good but have sensation is like no other team out there. Cannot recommend her enough.

Dr. Anne Peled is a world class surgeon with the most incredible bedside manner of any doctor you will ever meet. I had a double mastectomy and immediate implant reconstruction with nerve grafting one week ago today. I feel incredible, look significantly better than before, and have sensation in both breasts already. There simply is no other breast surgeon like Dr. Peled and I could not be more happy that I decided to fly across the country to do this with her. Her team is also spectacular. Dr. Ziv Peled, who does the nerve grafting and sensation preservation, is so brilliant and kind. Nicole, who does some of the pre-op and post-op appointments, is extremely knowledgeable and warm. Dr. Peled is a true hero for those of us touched by breast cancer. I wholeheartedly hope that her techniques become the new standard for mastectomy and reconstruction. She aims to make women look and feel even better after breast cancer surgery than they did before. I’ve spoken to so many women… who have gone through this surgery with Dr. Peled and we all say the same thing: she made what could have been a very tough experience into a beautiful one. I am forever grateful for Dr. Peled and her incredible, one-of-a-kind dream team.

I’m 27, had stage 2 breast cancer, received 6 rounds of chemo then double mastectomy with reconstruction. I found Dr. Peled on Instagram, when I learned that she specializes in nerve preservation. I was shocked to find out that she was actually in my insurance network as I live in Southern California. I had 2.5 weeks until my surgery with my original surgeon, but contacted Dr. Peled on Instagram, and in a couple of days she had me scheduled on my original surgery date!! I seriously wanted to cry because I felt for sure God was helping me. Everything was falling right into place. I Just wanted to be sure I got the best results possible, since obviously a mastectomy is a big change and something you have to live with for the rest of your life. I am SO happy with my surgery results. My new breasts are so natural looking ans WAY better than my old ones! I’d say I probably have 20% of my sensation so far, 3 months post op. I have only met Dr. Peled once in person, as my other visits have… been by video, and I really like her! But I LOVE Nicole. I’ve seen her and talked with her the most. She makes it so easy to email her with any questions I have. All in all, I would absolutely refer friends and family to Dr. Peled!

Dr. Peled’s skill, experience, compassion and ability to listen and communicate are amazing! She took time with me, answered questions, explained options and provided visual images to help me. By the time of the surgery, I felt confident and ready; everything went extremely well! Post-surgery follow up was excellent, with visits to manage each stage of healing. Her team was great too! Everyone got to know me personally, was very helpful and supportive. Before I met Dr. Peled, I was very apprehensive about the surgery, which was medically necessary. I’m so grateful to have found her and highly recommend her!

From the time I had my first consultation until post surgery I had but a pleasurable experience as Dr Peled's patient. My large breasts were a very sensitive topic for me as they go hand-in-hand with back and shoulder pain. I had seen chiropractors and tried acupuncture with no long term success by the time I ended up in Dr Peled’s office. Immediately I wanted to belt a lengthy life story of my relationship with my breasts and felt instant comfort as she was so easy to talk, polite and made a few jokes in between. She was detailed in explaining the process from start to finish and had access to 3D technology that helped me get a visual idea of what I’ll look like post-surgery. With all that being said, it definitely helps to look up at her impressive accomplishments hanging on her office wall and know you are in experienced hands. Also her office staff are all so pleasant. Christina to be specific, I called her about the most menial concerns and she happily answered my nervous… questions. My results turned out far better than I expected. If ever I needed anything else surgically done I would consider Dr Anne Peled first and absolutely recommend. Know you’ll be in great WARM hands!

I found Dr. Peled by way of YELP; she had FIVE reviews with perfect ratings. Since I am new to the area, I didn't have anyone who could refer me to a surgeon for a breast reduction. I scheduled a consultation and from the moment I met her front desk staff and my discussion with Dr. Peled, I knew that I would be well taken care of. I chose Dr. Peled as she accepts insurance and I knew I wanted a female surgeon. Dr. Peled also specializes in breast cancer surgery, which means a lot as I know that her level of care would be a lot different from someone that specialized solely in cosmetic surgery. I am 5'3 and I was a natural 32H cup. Dr. Peled provided 3-D pictures of what I looked like at the time as well as options of how small and/or how large I wanted to be post op. Since I feel like I was born with breasts, I opted to go as small as my body would allow. I experienced very little pain post-op. I did not need any narcotics and simply took ibuprofen for 7 days and then as needed. My… scars are minimal and have healed quite nicely. I am so happy to be a smaller cup size (34C), as my back, neck, and purse (larger cup sizes are expensive!!) are thankful. I'm very happy with my experience and highly recommend her for your surgical needs and/or desires.

I went to this doctor with a complex problem with my breast implant surgery. The advice she gave me was vastly different and not sophisticated. Most of the other plastic surgeons I went to told me her approach was the wrong way for many reasons.

She is unique from a personal history perspective and her approach to mastectomy and reconstruction. I am so grateful to have found her!

Dr. Peled's work is wonderful. I am breast cancer free and look almost exactly like I did before. The office procedures are sometimes delayed - such as getting your surgery scheduled and getting responses to questions. I was picking my new breasts out 15 minutes before surgery. However, that seems often the case with a brilliant surgeon, which Dr. Peled is. I highly recommend her.
