Dr. Anne Marie Pendo, MD

Dr. Pendo is the best. Very accurate in her diagnosis, up to date on my health care, very caring, answers every question.

The only downside in my patient/doctor relationship with Dr. Pendo comes from her well-deserved promotion to new administrative duties with Intermountain Healthcare. As a result, her office hours have been reordered. My annual physical was bumped three times, despite being secured many months in advance. I still believe she offers wonderful care, good advice for protecting health, and excellent skills for patients moving into retirement years and beyond.

I have been a patient for many years. Dr. Pendo has always been very professional with a kind, caring manner. She emphasizes preventive medicine, is very thorough, and is very quick to respond to messages.

Excellent doctor. Refers as needed. Follow -up exceptionally. As health care is dhanging I am pleased to have her as my physician.

You will not find a doctor with a better bedside manner and willingness to stick with you through illnesses and get you well.Dr. Pendo rules!

I really like Anne Pendo, but she will not follow up on certain issues that were in my standard annual blood test for a condition that I have had for several years. She does the blood test, then says to call another doctor if you think your medicine isnt at the right level/dose. The new doctor she sent me to charged like $600 for a new patient evaluation (that lasted about 10 minutes), and all of the information was in the blood test that Anne Pendo had already gotten. That is really bad because the cost of me getting another doctors opinion, plus another lab test was well over a thousand dollars. I had to pay for most of the new patient evaluation because of my high out of pocket maximum with my insurance. I did talk to Dr Pendo about this, and she said she wouldn't refer patients to that doctor again, but the cost of healthcare for me has hurt me so bad. I called her office recently and asked for a refill of a certain medication for a skin condition that I have had for years and is… documented in my medical record with her. It isn't going to go away due to weight, age, etc. She said to go to a dermatologist!! I shouldn't have to do that when she knows I have had this condition for some time and it isnt like I'm asking for a narcotic! Just some cream for a rash. I think that an internal medicine doctor shouldn't be so worried about liability of a rash, and help me out and just send a perscription. Going to another doctor wont help at all, and she will only be covering herself, not me as an individual that is older, and cannot afford all these doctor bills.
