Dr. Anne Marie Pylkas, MD

She's horrific. I have severe pain due to Mast Cell, RA, spondylosis, stenosis, fibromyalgia. She slandered me, lied to me, and about me. Ruined my relationships with other Drs. Put a false diagnoses in my records which she admitted. I could go on. Still haven't decided whether I should attempt to sue her.

For addiction medicine she is great. While starting to seek help i thought she was rude, inconsiderate, mean etc. When what it really came down to was that I was the problem. As i started to get better the dynamic did a 180. Bottom line, i didnt know what was best for me even though i thought i did. She refused to allow me to continue to take benzodiazepines while on suboxone, and low and behold those ended up being one of my biggest issues, exacerbating my mental health rather than helping it, while also exaserbating impulsive and drug seeking behavior. If you want to get better and know you need a doctor who wont let you work one over the system then this the doc for you. If not then its probably best to go find a doctor who takes cash and doesn't care about you actually getting better.

Worse Dr ever met and I was a nurse for 30 plus yrs .She Lies, treats patients like everyone is drug seeker . Bad mouths other doctors.

Do NOT go to Anne if you actually have a pain condition needing management. She specializes in ADDICTION medicine. She is rude, unprofessional, WILL NOT LISTEN, is VERY aggressive and does not actually help manage any pain condition, the only thing she will do is cut all pain medication even for those with serious chronic illnesses, and she is perfectly fine having the patient suffer while touting "almost all my patients are much happier in the end."

Rude and disrespectful. Refused to admit a mistake. Childish attitude.

lots of misinfmatinon and lies

I have a serious and inoperable spinal injury that fused in a way that left nerves pinched and cord compressed. I was referred for pain management to Dr. Pylkus at Health Partners where she workes in the neurology and pain management. Long story short-she runs pa private drug treatment center and is only concerned with diagnosing addiction. She had pulled the records of a person who shared my mother's name (apparently a drug seeker) prior to seeing me and promptly called my "problem" a "family" one. And she called me a liar since I didn't give a family medical history consistant with the one she expected. She also told me she does not perscribe any opoide pain medications and is not certified to do so. I was looking to transfer care to her and am already perscribed this type of medication. In her view this means I'm an addict that needs to go to therepy and treatment. This type of referral is all I was offered for care. If you are actually in severe pain, this is the wrong person to… see. She is a Chemical Dependancy Specialist, not a Neuropathic Pain Specialist!

i disliked the way she treated me as if i were a person with no feelings. she betrayed my trust big time and ruined my relationships with other doctors. huge ego issues. making inappropriate comments regarding other pain clinics and new laws for pain control options

Not a kind or understanding Dr. i would not recommend
