Dr. Anne Marie Suh, MD

Dr. Suh was my doctor for the last 4 years and I really liked her a lot. However her treatment of me today when I came in for my annual check up was quite appalling. I admit I arrived for my 8.30AM appointment about 6 minutes late which the office lady was quick to point out. Now the number of times I have had to wait much past my appointment time (often between 15- 30 mins) are numerous but I have not said anything about it. I checked in and realized that I had left my cell phone with my driver's license and credit cards in the car and I needed to go get it. The office lady called the doctor's assistant who said I could not take the 2 mins (literally as my car was parked right downstairs 2 floors down in the garage) to get my phone. I did anyway as I could not risk it getting stolen and when I came upstairs I was told that I would have to reschedule my appointment for doing that. So because they waited 2 mins for me (in fact in the time it took that office lady to call them and tell… me I can't go was enough for me to get my phone) I would need to come back. I had taken the day off work for this. Unfortunately this is horrible patient treatment and awful customer service and no one deserves this. Its not like I made the doctor wait for 20 mins; it was 2 mins. Whether this militant attitude was from the assistant or the doctor, at the end of the day, the buck stops with the doctor. And clearly, as a patient of 4 years, I did not matter enough to them. I will now find another primary care doctor that treats me better. It is a shocking end to a patient-doctor relationship with a doctor I thought was the best out there.

I liked Dr. Suh right away. She made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. I will now have her as my doctor from now on.

I left Chicago 8 years ago and still haven't found another doctor like her. She was patient, spent time with you until you were comfortable to move on, always gave the right advise and was spot on. I miss her.

She's GREAT!! Never seems to be in a hurry with you. Love her!!

She has been my doctor for 4 years now. Easy to talk to and she knows sports (Patriots fan BOOO!). Makes her patients feel comfortable and she talks to me as if I were her only patient. I would definitely recommend her to my friends.

I am extremely impressed with Dr. Suh. I had somewhat unusual health problems stretching over months. She is thorough and scientific, taking her time and making sure that we were focused on treating my symptoms as well as methodically figuring out the underlying problem. She demonstrates a ready knowledge of current research and standards for patient care, and discusses them in the context of your individual situation. I feel like I have extraordinary patient care, with a wicked smart scientist to boot. She is the perfect doctor.
