Dr. Anne Sherrise Tuggle, MD

My family and I have been a patient of Dr. Tuggle for many years and she is by far the best doctor! She spends time and listens to her patients. She makes you feel comfortable and gets things done. She is genuinely a good person! Thanks Dr. Sincerely, The Strickland Family

Little wait time. Nurse was nice. Pleasant to talk to. Answered my questions. The Dr. came in after the nurse left. Say 15 minutes. Dr. also was pleasant, easy to talk with. Liked her. Would recommend her to anyone. Friendly. Easy to talk with.

I visited Dr. Tuggle as a new patient because her office was new to my area and it was very close to home and work. I received my flu shot on the first visit and had a long talk with her about which medications were working for me and which medications we needed to change. She is a very nice, charismatic woman and I really felt like I had a physician that cared about my well being. We discussed my fml claim for work as well as the prescriptions that needed to be filled. She sent three prescriptions for insulin that were the incorrect type as I do not use vials, I use the pens of insulin. So I had to purchase syringes to use those vials that I had to wait weeks for because she did not put specific instructions on the prescription, nor did her nurse return any of the calls from my pharmacist on several different occasions. I went for a week and a half without my mealtime insulin and another week for my long acting insulin because she did not have to correct instructions on the paperwork… that was faxed over to my pharmacy. When I dropped off paperwork for short term disability because I was in ICU, the receptionist told me that she would leave Dr. Tuggle a note. That was over 3 weeks ago. My short term disability claim was denied and when I called yesterday and spoke with the receptionist she told me the information was not filled out or sent because Dr. Tuggle said I missed 2 appointments, one of which while I was in the ICU. So there was not letter or notice sent out to my address to let me know that and by law I have 90 days to find a new physician before they can refuse treatment to me. I am having my lawyer get involved in this fiasco.

Everything you read in her reviews is true. Her "nurse" is terrible. They lack a caring attitude. She is always late or behind schedule and by a lot. She must give out lots of drugs, since drug reps are always there. Her parking lot was full but only one person in waiting room. Everyone that went back while I was there never came out. I presume waiting to see her. Only saw two people come out. Her office is a black hole. There is a whole lot of nothing going on there. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go.

Office dirty, receptionist and nurse both have attitude problems, Dr. in too much of a hurry

Office staff is rude. The doctor is in too much of a hurry. The wait time is too long.

I chose Dr. Tuggle because she was close to my house. I did not know the area, or any doctors there. I took my 18 month old daughter in for a cough. After an hour of waiting, I approached the receptionist, who was wearing a low cut t-shirt with a bikini top underneath. She never looked up from the facebook page I could see on the computer to tell me it would be just another minute. I waited another hour before being called back, even though I was the only one in the waiting room. However, I did see drug reps going in and out. Once back there, she said that I had to wait so long because my daughter was behind on her immunizations, which was not true. She was refering to her 18 mo. shots, and she had only been 18 mo. old for less than two weeks. She never took my daughter's tempreature, and never looked at her throat. She gave her the several shots, which I later found out that she gave the next round of shots without informing me. She then tried to prescribe her an asthma… medication without administering any tests what so ever. I went home and looked up the side effects of the drug, and they were awful, even though Dr. Tuggle told me there were none. Needless to say, I did not fill the perscription, and the cough cleared on its own in less than a week. There have been no problems since. Afterwards, I tried to switch doctors, and had a huge problem getting my daughter's records sent to another provider. I was lied to several times, and told the documents were sent when they were not. I would highly recomend going elsewhere!!!!

Great staff. Dr Tuggle is a delight - caring, thoughtful, aware of the needs of the patient and available.
