Dr. Anne Hsiaoyuen Wang, MD

She & her staff dosed me THREE times against my will & did not monitor my oxygen properly for an EGD. I am now brain injured for life.

5+ weeks of complications associated with aggressive endoscopy procedure. There was an acknowledgment of mandibular lingual tori and an intensively aggravated and aggressive endoscopic interaction that resulted in the necessity to have a periodontist involvement. As such, I have tori bone exposure because of Wang's aggressive procedure. I am now responsible to pay the periodontist the issues associated with the 'errors' by Dr. Wang. I was told infection and swelling could be considered normal post-examination affects; but for 5 weeks? I will NOT recommend Dr. Wang !

I agree with the previous reviewer. I can't help but wonder why someone like Dr. Wang decided to become a doctor. The money? The prestige? Whatever her motivation, It certainly wasn't based on a desire to help others. Utterly lacking in people skills and empathy, she makes no attempt to hide her impatience and her desire to bolt out of the room as soon as possible. She is disinterested in gathering information, resents being asked questions, and speaks without listening. When asked a question, her response is to repeat word for word what she previously said, only at a much, much louder volume. The last sentence that she said to me as she fled from the room was, â??Iâ??m late!â?? Avoid Anne Wang if you believe that responsible patients have a right to understand what a procedure involves. Avoid her if you believe a patient should be treated with respect. And avoid her if you value your health.

Dr Wang is the best gastroenterologist I have ever met with. She is highly professional,gives clear and concise information in a timely manner.

Dr. Wang suggested that I go home & look up GI procedures on the Internet in order to decide which tests to undergo in order to investigate my abdominal issues. I should not be responsible for diagnosing myself; that's her job. Never once did she say what my symptoms might suggest. She simply wants to perform procedures without guiding the patient in any way as to what procedure might be needed and why. I'm switching doctors, of course. I am not trained to heal myself, and Dr. Wang does not seem to want to do her job. A very frustrating experience because the pain continues while she offers no medical advice. I found the whole experience truly dumbfounding and indicative of the sorry state of health care in this country.
