Dr. Anne Marie Zomcik, MD

Very disappointed in the care we received for my newborn and toddler. Both children had misdiagnosed issues occurring simply because Dr. Zemcik didn’t properly examine them during their well visit appointments on things that should of been examined and discussed regularly. She is friendly, but not thorough. She doesn’t teach proper care to new parents when examining or check patients thoroughly. She seems to go about well visits just to get them completed with no care in the actual patients. Very disappointing especially for newborn and new parent care. She also canceled several appointments due to her being on “vacation.”

Dr. Zomcik is the best pediatrician in Erie and surrounding areas. She is so kind and caring, her work ethic is insane and does everything she can to help your little ones!

We have seen Dr. Zomcik for 19 yrs now with all four of my daughters. She has always been a wonderful doctor , always answered any questions, always pleasant as well with both me, my husband and mother in law (who have taken my children there),and also helped diagnose a problem my youngest daughter was having that was misdiagnosed by several other places. We will continue to see her until my youngest is grown. The staff also has been very good with us and had the pleasure of seeing my daughters grow up too. Highly recommend her.

Let me start by saying my wife loves this practice because of a very helpful and pleasant nurse practitioner. Also, when Dr. Zomcik is able to visit during an apt., she is pleasant to my wife. Now, that's if you're a mom. I have taken my children several times and hate the wait. I will just be blunt, I think the office hates dads being there. One visit the nurse made the comment " oh, we're in trouble today, better warn the Dr. Looks like its all dads today". The couple of visits I was there solo and actually saw Dr. Zomcik she did not speak to me, but decided to ask my children what was wrong. Their ages were 18 months and two years, awkward silence until I spoke up. She didn't make eye contact once and the nurse actually had to tell me the size and weight stats and what was wrong after the Dr left the room, on both occasions. Just my experience, like I said, my wife's experiences there are better. When we go together, my wife usually talks to her, if she's there.

She has been my daughter's Pediatrician since birth but rarely is present for my daughter's appointments. My daughter only sees the "assistant". How can someone call themselves your doctor when you can't even see them for your appointments. They should call them "dis-appointments" :(

Dr. Zomcik is a very polite and friendly doctor. She was always great with my kids. However, to make an appointment with her is like pulling teeth. When you call because your child is sick, you will never see her. You will always have to see a different doctor in the office. When you go to schedule a routine visit, she is always book in the afternoons and only works certain days of the week. Which makes it extremely difficult for working parents with kids who go to school during the day. The staff in the office are extremely rude. They always make you sound like you are a hassle when you call. When i called to switch doctors becasue of the above circumstances, they sounded like they could care less. Now mind you this has been my daughters doctor for the entire 6 years of her life as well as my newborn son. Now i have to find someone else to see my children, someone they have never met.

I would not reccomend this office. They are very misleading and not accomodating. Had bad experience with physician that covered call for group, when brought to Dr Zomcik's attention, she did not seem interested. Office staff gives misinformation, not good communication. Was told I would not be charged 20 dollar copay for weight checks with the nurse, but ended up charged for 3. When spoke with the office manager she said there was nothing she could do, and sorry someone told us incorrectly. Left practice after 6 months, would not reccomend to anyone

Dedicated, Thorough, Caring Pediatrician who is great with my children. Straightforward and easy to talk with and relays medical terminology into simple understandable terms.
