Dr. Annekathryn Goodman, MD

I am terrified of doctors. I was referred to Dr. Goodman for an ovarian cyst. I have never met a doctor so compassionate, so understanding, so honest and so smart. She did not push surgery on me. She explained why at this time, I do not need it. I am so truly grateful for her knowledge, kindness and empathy. If all doctors were like Dr. Goodman the world would be a better place.

22 years cancer-free now after the most excellent care from Dr. Goodman. I showed up to the first office visit with over thirty questions written down which she answered thoroughly, saw me through some un-expected non-surgical complications, performed precise surgery, and along with her team provided good follow-up for years. Should you ever need her, I recommend Dr. Goodman most highly.

Dr. AK Goodman is a skilled and careful surgeon whose expert work meant my post op pain level was minimal compared to what it could have been. Her follow up visits and calls carried all theinformaiton I needed in a timely manner. Further, her genuine care for her patients is not only obvious but so obviously sincere. I hope I never need her again, but if I or someone I know does, I would recommend her strongly.

I was referred to Dr. Godman by my OB/GYN for endometrial cancer surgery during COVID epidedemic. I found her warm, very knowledgeable, unrushed, ad obviously at the very top of her field, able to explain anything I asked about. My surgery went very well as did my chemo. Her team was always available to anser any question any time of day or night. I recommend her without reservaion.

Dr. Goodman is a Mother Theresa, their is no one like her and I wouldn't go to anyone else.She is an angel. Give her a shot you won't regret it....love her.....

You will never find a better GYN or any other type of doctor. I was referred to her back in 1995 because a GYN in Salem, MA was incompetent and didn't know how to do a simple test. Well, thankful that happened because she was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was date ------ and lost a lot of blood. She took me into surgery immediately from her office. My hematocrit was dropping too low. She saved my life. I had cervical dysplasia which is precancerous . I now have normal pap smears. She always gives hugs.She smiles all the time. She is the most caring doctor I've ever encountered. She is so competent and brilliant. I have never had anything bad to say about her at all. We have even stayed in contact off and on since I moved out of state. I sent her Christmas cards with a note and she would ALWAYS send one back with a note. There is not another doctor on this planet that does this. I lost touch with her but this makes me want to get back in touch,. If you can get an appt.… with her then, you must. I just love this lady.
