Dr. Annelise Collier, MD

At first I really liked Dr. Collier. But I became addicted to the massive amount of pain meds she gave me. It went on for couple years. Upping my dose quite a few times without bothering to check on me. Never had a urinalysis from her. She just kept giving them and giving them. Along with 4 other people I knew that went there. They all received large doses of strong narcotics! Simply keeping people addicted! Hope this has changed. Sadly some doctors just hand them out generously without care. To me that isn't right!

She dropped my dying Mother as patient because I, the caregiver, required too much of her time and she indicated she did not have that much time to invest in my hospice cared Mother. She also said that she only supported St. Luke's hospice and would not support the one we decided to utilize. The only times I contacted this doctor was to investigate current drug side effects and all I wanted is to have my Mother on the best pain medicine possible. I will not apologize for trying to assist in my Mother's care. I thought my requests were professional and credible, too bad I was bothering this doctor. I am happy to report that our new Hospice staff is always there and I never feel as if I am a burden to their time.

Dr. Collier is an excellent listener with a very compassionate approach to dealing with patients who suffer through the horror of cancer treatment. She makes you feel like you can win this war. Her positive influence keeps me going!. God bless her!
