dr barnes is amazing

Dr. Barnes is a nice lady but she is extremely slow to treat or test your child. She consistanly waits and waits to run test and almost always waits forever to give antibotics. Since we switched to her our kids have missed almost 20 days per year of school as she refuses to give them antibotics at the correct dosage if at all. Once child went for over a month with a sinus infection and headache and she insisted it was just allergies and left the child untreated.took that child to another doctor and they gave the child anitbotics and where shock that dr barnes didn't treat him. Another child had a sore throat for almost a month and half before she decide to run test. turns out she was really sick with a bacterial infection only would do a 5 day course of antibotics. Still sick with sore throat after that will not treat with more antibotics. Insist it's allergies even with a confirmed bacterial infection. Horrible doctor is.f you want good care go somewhere else's. If you want your kid… chronic ill without resolution go to her.

I have 3 kids so been there done that, Dr. Barnes sees my youngest (other 2 children are grown up). She is an excellent Dr. I trust her very much with my son she knows what she's doing and is not afraid to refer my son to other specialists for further testing if he needs it.

Dr. Barnes is an excellent doctor. She keeps close track of my daughter's health, and makes calls after hours when it is important. Dr. Pasia fills in for Dr. Barnes if Dr. Barnes is not available. She is also excellent.

DO NOT GO TO BARNES! My daughter threw up every formula on the market, by process of elimination we found she is either allergic to dairy or gluten, doctor Barnes REFUSES to test her for allergies and will not give me a referral to see a specialist. My daughter has a runny nose 24/7 since birth and when she coughs, formula comes out her nose. Dr Barnes will not look at her sinuses or give me a specialist referral. My baby has chest congestion, raspy breathing and often gasps for air, dr Barnes guessed she would grow out of it eventually. No tests were done. My baby couldn't nurse and after 5 visits to dr Barnes and her telling me to "keep trying" we saw a different doctor who told us immediately my daughter was tongue tied and unable to nurse at all! Dr Barnes never checked for that. And one last thing, I saw dr Barnes twice for a rash on my daughters arm and she claimed it was eczema or dry skin without testing the rash at all and after this little spot had spread to get entire arm,… it is in fact Ring Worm! I told dr Barnes I was concerned it looked like ring worm, she immediately discredited my words. If you care AT ALL about your child. Do NOT take them to Annette Barnes. Oh and the raspy breathing is very under developed airways as we are working on the sinus and allergy issue elsewhere.
