Dr. Annette Cynthia Bernhut-Caplin

Dr. Bernhutt is a fine doctor. Listens and offers solutions. BUT the wait times are unacceptable. The last 3 times I have visited, I have waited over an hour past my appointment time to see her after arriving and checking in before my appointment.

Dr. Bernhut is seriously a great Doctor. I am 33 years old currently and have jumped from Kaiser doctors, family friend doctors, random doctors growing up from Lancaster, CA to Orange County, CA throughout my life time.None of them have been able to diagnose me so quickly, HEAR ME OUT AND CARE, be funny and work with me because my body doesn't handle certain medications like most people. She is so smart, quick, and I love the fact that she decorated some of the rooms there. I also love that she doesn't say "its just anxiety" or throw medication at you like that is a fix all. If you are looking for a great Doctor that will take their time, listen, care, work with you, keep up with current medicine and knowledge and overall be a great person and treat you with respect and make the visit feel like talking to a very educated friend, choose Dr. Bernhut.

Wish she wasn't forced to herd us in by insurance quotas to the point we are all stressed because she does care and wants to spend time with her patients. She has gorgeous rooms, she is caring and probably saved my life. Just love her.

2pm appointment. Arrived 1:30pm since I knew I'd have to fill out forms. Very few folks in the waiting room. Turned in the forms by 1:45. Then sat and waited. And waited. Then waited some more. 5 patients arrived after me. All were taken back ahead of me (probably for other doctors). 2:45, was called into the back offices. I explained to the assistant that I had a 2pm appointment since I had another event requiring me to leave by 3pm. She said that Dr. Bernhut still had another patient ahead of me. I know it's unusual to be seen right at appointment times and rare to be seen on schedule. But to have to wait what would have been an hour or more past my appointment time is just not acceptable. Doctors are getting way too complacent about seeing patients in a timely manner, and Bernhut is no exception, sadly. When will they understand that our time is important to us?

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Bernhut. Usually a wait to see her, but she listens to complaints and gets referrals or responds promptly.

I've been a patient for more than 10 years, and have always received great care from Dr. Bernhut-Caplin. She is easy to talk to and is concerned that you receive quality assistance from her staff and referred physicians.

I have seen Dr. Bernhut for myself and my 2 teenage daughters. It is not easy to get a prompt appointment with her specifically (we have gotten into one of the nurse pracitioners sooner, which is fine for our family) however when my daughter broke her arm, we were seen right away by the doctor. During appointments, she spends an ample amount of time, took copious notes, did listen to my concerns, and provided follow up via email and will actually respond herself which I was impressed with. I am happy with this office, this doctor and the services provided.

Dr. Bernhut is a nice lady but I spent many years going to her without satisfactory diagnosis/treatment. Wish it were a different story but not so.

This doctor's office is the worse that i have ever been to, you wait an hour before your seen, the receptionist are snoody. I have had the doctor talk over me several times, i have had a nurse practitioner tell me 3 times to shut up as i was explaining my symptoms to her and tell me that i don't know what im talking about. As if i dont know what my own symptoms are! really!! have some manners and respect for you patients. I do not recommend this place to anyone not even my own worse enemy!
