Dr. Annette Marie Dinneen, MD

Very happy with my interaction with Dr. Dinneen. She was very through with my exam and procedure. Explaining as she is working. Loved her demeanor and enthusiasm. Definitely will recommend to others.

I was at the office and saw NP that did cryo said she did 11 areas. I couldn't count 11 and went back in 2 days later and explained I came in for a spot on my cheek that was burning but her nurse didnt cryo that spot . I was told she did not know why it was burning it was a freckle. I felt she brushed me off. Will not go back.

saw Jessica for head to toe screening. Didn't even ask me to take my socks or shorts off. Even mentioned there was a mole in groin area and she didn't even look at it just said its probably fine. Also, missed my ears and other areas.

I had squamous cancer on my scalp that kept growing back, and the PAkept saying it was not cancer but if it was it was not harmful because it could be basil. I kept going back and she kept freezing it off and it kept growing back. Finally I got the Nurse Practitioner who looked at it and immediately took samples and arranged for my followup. The sample was sent to the lab and came back positive for squamous cancer. Well, it's growing back again! Several friends who have had this type of cancer always saw the doctor and they were told freezing it off is hit and miss and they don't like to do it. I saw the doctor on my first visit and that was it. I'm on immunosuppresant drugs for a transplant and I did get a lot of sun in my teens and 20's. I have to have an annual skin check for cancer. I am now on a 6 month schedule but the blasted thing has grown back. The doctor and her staff were respectful when I have seen them. The NP and checkout lady are great!

I don't have a follow up visit as of yet but the service from staff was nice and I was greatly pleased with Dr. Dinneen's manner in telling me what the diagnosis was and prompt removal of my troubling skin lesion.

This doctor burnt something off my chest before discussing it with me. It happened so fast I didn't have time to react let alone discuss option. I scar easily and would have wanted to know my options before she treated the spot. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this doctor.

My daughter's treatment and results were very good. This was the second dermatologists group we saw after not having good results with our first choice and we were very, very pleased!!!!

On and off I have struggled with my decision to stay with this office. I have been a patient for approximately 7 years. There are a couple of people that I have had good, professional experiences with including the NP, an MA, and the checkout receptionist. The other staff, including the doctor, seem busy, sometimes rude, and in a hurry to shuffle you out the door. I have a multitude of skin issues including a history of non-melanoma skin cancers. My last check-up was so brief the doctor was in and out of the exam room in about 5 minutes and spent the majority of that time telling her nurse what prescriptions to write. Given my history, I do NOT feel like I am getting adequate care.

I waited 50 minutes in the lobby.As this was my first visit, I had a list of items to discuss. Dineen only focused on the mole removal asking if I wanted to do it today. I said yes thinking we would first discuss what that entailed such as scarring because the mole was in the middle of my face. Instead she told me to lie back and an un-introduced person who had been standing there took out a huge needle and razor blades from a drawer. I shot upright and said "wait". The Dr then said "Well, maybe you're not ready to do this today." and acted like she was leaving the room. I had to beg her to stay and explain the procedure. I also had to ask her twice "could we please talk about the other things I came here for?" When she did finally address that she seemed peeved. As I had just suffered a bad sunburn, my question was how to treat it. Her answer was "Well, just don't get one in the first place." She also informed me there was "nothing I could do about wrinkles." LITERALLY. This was her… advice. Then after the Dr left, her assistant said it was a good thing I had not gotten the mole removed because the Dr "would have left a big scar" and then advised me to get it done at a plastic surgeon. I was visibly upset at this point. So, the ever so helpful assistant offered more unsolicited advise when she suggested my regular doctor give me, as she put it, "a chill pill" before I returned. UNBELIEVABLE. I have spoken to many people about this and they were appalled. I have learned that there are caring and communicative dermatologists who would never treat someone this way. I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO SEE ANY OTHER DR THAN THIS ONE.

I didn't get my issues resolved after 4 appointments. Office staff was very rude. Dr. Dinnen only spent maybe 5 minutes with me each time. She never remembered me or my problems. I will not be a patient any longer.
