I have over 30 years of experience working in medical and mental health. I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Board-Certified Family Health Nurse Practitioner. My dual certification allows me to approach mental health from a holistic perspective, considering both psychological and physical well-being. As a mother of a child who struggled with mental illness, I learned to be patient, non-judging, and compassionate. My approach to treatment is based on the belief that therapy is a partnership where the goal is for the client to understand their needs while appreciating their strengths. My goal is to help you live your best life through person-centered psychotherapy, supportive psychotherapy, and/or medication management. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, and personality disorders.
