Dr. Annette Melanie Vollrath, MD

Dr. Vollrath admitted me as a surgical patient to Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center in July, 2015 and followed and supervised my bedside nursing care until my discharge. She is exceptionally competent professionally, looks you right in the eye when she talks with you and is direct and to the point.in discussing your treatment and care. Equally as important, she is cordial, friendly, listens to everything you say and tells you not only what to expect but why and when. Having been a hospital patient several times over my 82 years and having been treated by many, many doctors, I say without reservation that Dr. Vollrath is one of the best medical doctors I have ever been treated by. If I needed to pick a doctor sight-unseen for medical consultation and treatment for next year, Dr. Vollrath would be my choice. She's the best!
