Dr. Annette Wood, DDS

I was told by an NYC dentist that I had multiple cavities and needed fillings ASAP. Seeking a second (trusted) opinion, I visited Dr. Wood's office (despite a recent cross-country move). They saw me with very little notice and confirmed that I did NOT have any cavities. Unlike many dentists, Dr. Wood's staff always has their clients' best interest in mind and will not conduct a procedure unless it is absolutely necessary. Beyond the quality care, their customer service cannot be surpassed. My family has seen Dr. Wood for the last 20+ years, and this excellent care makes it hard to go anywhere else!

Annette put in a filling for me a while back. Within a day or two the filling fell out. It took them over a week to schedule me back in and this is after they cancelled my appointment when we called to see if they could bring me in sooner as I was unable to eat without pain due to the gaping hole in my tooth. After the filling was replaced, instead of apologizing, Annette raised her voice to me and said some very offensive things, which were completely unprompted and totally out of line. As someone who works in healthcare, I would never treat or talk to a patient in the way that she did. She is not a very good dentist and for what she lacks in skill, she does not make up for with professionalism.
