Dr Anoop Meraney, MD

I’m 25 and had testicular cancer last year. Dr. Meraney did an 8 hour procedure on me and I’m alive today because of his knowledge and skill. Very confident, and with my frequent visits back for other issues, he’s been nothing but helpful to getting me back on track to a normal life which is only possible because of him. If any of my loved ones needed an operation, I’d feel completely comfortable knowing Dr. Meraney was their surgeon!

My experience with Dr. Meraney was and continues to be nothing but a pleasure. I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in my 40’s. Dr Meraney was swift and accurate with the diagnosis and removal of my kidney cancer. He is a kind and compassionate Dr. who listens and cares about his patients. After surgery he recognized my husband in the cafeteria and sat and spoke to him and reassured him that I was ok. A priceless interaction for my husband at the time! I feel Dr. Meraney is great doctor. He is literally my life saver!

Over the last 15 months I needed two kidney surgeries. I had 3 cancerous tumors on my kidneys. He was recommended by another Dr and his recommendation was spot on! From the first time I met him, I felt comfortable and in the presence of greatness - if you know what that means. During all of my meetings with him, he never made me feel rushed or hurried and answered all of my questions. He was able to save both kidneys and all follow up tests have been positive. He, the other Drs and staff were excellent to work with while in the hospital and in his offices. He also has a quiet but confident demeanor. Dr. Meraney is the best doctor anyone could ever have. I am cancer free, and I am more than grateful and privileged to have him as my doctor and surgeon. He and his team, since I have known them, are amazing. They are all knowledgeable, caring, and are genuine. I have been a patient of Dr. Meraney for over six years. My daughter, family members and I have often said that he walks on water! I was referred to him after being diagnosed with bladder cancer. At my first appointment, he thoroughly reviewed with my sister and I his recommended regimen and the rationale behind it. He and his staff then coordinated with the oncologist and scheduled my initial consultation. After chemotherapy, surgery to remove my bladder and create a neo bladder from the small intestines was performed. Dr. Meraney recommended the neo bladder, which eliminated the need for any time of exterior appliance for which I am very grateful. My husband recently had major surgery to remove a kidney that was cancerous and had a thrombus growing into the large vein behind the liver and heart. He put together a fantastic team of doctors to care for my husband before and after the 7-hour surgery. Dr. Meraney was so compassionate in keeping us informed and answering any questions immediately after the successful surgery that he performed. You could travel the entire country and you could not find a better surgeon. I had kidney cancer that a different surgeon was not able to remove. Dr. Meraney performed a very difficult but successful surgery 4 years ago. Thanks to him, I'm still alive and cancer
