Dr. Anoop Wattamwar, MD

Anoop Wattamwar, M.D., is the Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), the Co-Chairman of Radiology at Palisades Medical Center (PMC), and on the Faculty for the Department of Radiology at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.  

Dr. Wattamwar is Dual Board-Certified in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology and specializes in providing cutting-edge, image-guided diagnoses and treatments to his patients. 

Serving as the Director of Interventional Oncology, he has overseen the development and growth of the Interventional Oncology Program into an integral pillar of cancer care provided to the patients at HUMC and the John Theurer Cancer Center. He works closely with Oncologists and Surgeons to ensure patients receive optimal and timely multidisciplinary cancer care.

He has helped author peer-reviewed publications in the field of Prostate Artery Embolization and has contributed to the growth …of the most experienced Prostate Artery Embolization practice in New Jersey.  

Dr. Wattamwar and his colleagues are at the forefront of non-surgical musculoskeletal treatments including performing Genicular Artery Embolizations for management of arthritis-related knee pain.
