This man has no business dealing with people. We encountered him at Mount Sinai South Nassau. He actually told the nurse he was too busy and couldn't come to the floor to speak with me and the patient. He said..."Just discharge him." Once I got angry, he called the floor. No, come up to the room. After contacting the nurse manager he made an appearance. He was gruff, had an attitude and was accusing me of being abusive to him because I said this is bull$shit. He's a piece of work, who needs to retire. If you are not compassionate toward people, you are in the wrong business. He may be smart, I dont know, I couldn't get past the demeanor and lack of bedside manor.

Consider this a warning! This doctor is absolutely horrible!! My mom had the unfortunate experience with this monster in a hospital., where her breathing was mot stable and still in pain he completely disregarded her symptoms and told her that he will be signing her out of the hospital.. When she told him she can't breathe and has pain he said we then you will have to go to a nursing home or hospice.. As family would do, we intervened and called him frantically.. He told us that he can't help her.. Please advise and don't go see this dr.. I feel bad for patients under his care especially if they have no family to fight for them.. He should not be practicing medicine.. The director of the hospital and insurance company will be notified.. I'm disgusted with his demeanor..
