Dr. Anshu Prasad Sinha, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Sinha since 2016. She has performed glaucoma surgery and cataract removals on both eyes. She has always been very candid with me and her manner made me want to be a good patient. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

After losing a significant area of sight, I came to Dr Sinha after 2 different Glaucoma lazer surgeries to decrease the ocular pressure in one eye had not been successful. I had also had 2 cataract surgeries (the 2nd because a piece of the original lens was left behind the 1st time). My experience has been wonderful! After a thorough examination, Dr. Sinha carefully explained the procedure for a Trabeculectomy. While it was scary, she was calm throughout the entire procedure and follow-up. By carefully following her instructions my pressure is normal and stable. I have recommended her to others and will continue in her care. A truly knowledgeable and caring professional.

Dr. Sinha's staff (clerical and technical) are the most efficient and empathic I have ever encountered. The office is bright and cheerful, the restroom is immaculate, and there's no irritating TV or other noisy distraction. Dr. Sinha shifted her busy schedule to accommodate my near-emergency situation. She is caring, patient, great at explaining the details of narrow-angle glaucoma and its treatment , & relieving patient anxiety. She's excellent at administering medication. She performed my peripheral iridotomy quickly but CAREFULLY, and with a minimum of discomfort (& NO PAIN) to me. I can't find enough superlatives to describe Dr. Sinha. She is absolutely the best.

Very attentive and highly skilled with diagnostic and treatment of an eye trauma. Explained every step of the procedure. Gentle, and reassuring! Top notch doctor.

Dr. Sinha agreed to see me as a new patient on an emergency basis. The staff were very courteous and were willing to work with my insurance, though it was international. They were very accommodating, considering the emergency medical care that I needed and was willing to work around my travel schedule. Dr. Sinha took the time out to answer all the questions I had. This was the best doctor office experience I have had. The staff are very friendly and understanding.

Dr. Sinha is very professional, caring and excellent physician who takes time with patients and explains in detail the findings, and course of action. I would highly recommend her to my medical peers as well as relatives and friend.

I would like to comment not only on Dr. Sinha, but on her entire staff. It was a very pleasant experience. I was there to be tested for glaucoma. I never knew so many machines and tests existed. Before each test, her staff took the time to explain everything about the test; i.e. what is was for; what they would do; what would I feel; what were good results, etc. Then, when all the tests were completed, Dr. Sinah sat down with my wife and I and went over the results of each test, and answered all of our questions. There were no lectures, no guilt trips, no finger pointing, just very pleasant conversation. I could go on and on, but you get the point. I have already recommended her to some of our friends. Enough said!!!
