I was on a pain management program from 2014-2015 at Berger Pain Management in Circleville Ohio. I was on a regimen of Percocet and during this time was referred to Physical Therapy at the same hospital. I was also given steroidal epidural injections three times during this same time period. The Percocet did help me continue working, the shots had zero effect, and PT caused more harm, especially the traction treatments. I have DDD and Diabetic Neuropathy. I was cut off from the Percocet completely because, I was told, I was late to my appointments twice. I was late by a matter of minutes and still waited an extra half hour to see this doctor, Raj Swain. I feel that the real reason that I was cut off was that I was not going to be a constant source of revenue as I saw no reason to continue with injections that had no effect. When I later tried to get a copy of my medical records, the nurse had me wait for twenty minutes as she had to speak with Dr. Swain. She came back and nervously… gave me an excuse and said they would mail them. A week later I called and had to leave a message that my personal records had not been mailed to me. I never received a call back. Fortunately, I didn't have any severe effects from the immediate withdrawal, but I did experience chills and flu-like symptoms for several days. I sometimes wondered if he did the same thing to other patients and hoped they tolerated the immediate withdrawal as well as I. Takes time to listen to concerns and explains rationals behind treatment options. If there was ever a Dr. I would trust to keep me safe on pain medication, it is Dr. Swain and his team, they are genuinely concerned about that as well as my comfort as I move through my battle with this chronic pain. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a Dr. who cares.

I have been a patient of Dr Swain for about 8 months he really cares about his patients and their concerns.Plus he’s a great person I’d highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Swain has been my pain management doctor for over four years now his bedside manner and expertise in care are the best that I have ever seen.He truly cares about his patients and will go the extra mile to make sure they are taken care of and their care is the best it can possibly be.Furthermore his nursing staff and the facilities are among the best you will find in central Ohio arguably the rest of the country.I would recommend anybody in my family to Dr. Swain

I been to four pain Drs never had the kind of care i am receiving at this point in time in my life in Hocking County with Dr .R Swain / With presenting him with all my MRIs and x-rays he just knows what to do with The problems I have been experiencing over the years . I Have a long way to go but with the faith and confidence I have in God and Dr Swain they both give me hope ð???

He's amazing easy to talk to he listens to me and explains my options and gives me the opportunity to be a part of my own care. He walks me through procedures
