Dr. Anson Cua Lam, MD

I went to the ER because I have some symptoms that I thought I had covid-9. Dr. Lam was very professional. Although he explained that it didn't seem like I had the covid-19, he treated me very courteous. I got tested and fortunately it was negative. I wish every doctor is like Dr. Lam.

had good experience with Dr. Lam when i visited st. jude ER. he seemed very knowledgeable and seemed very experience. He knows his stuff. Found out he graduated from UCLA medical school and was trained at Harbor UCLA Emergency Medicine program which is one of the top in the nation.

I went to ER at st. jude and was treated by Dr. Lam. he seemed very knowledgeable and seemed to know his stuff. Later I did a search on him and found out he graduated from UCLA medical school and was trained at Harbor UCLA. I know that Harbor UCLA Emergency Medicine program is one of the top in the nation. No wonder it seems like he knows his stuff.

I took my son to the ER and he was Dr. Lam. He seemed very knowledgeable and took care of my son well. He spent time to talk to us and discuss about my son's condition. We are very thankful that we saw Dr. Lam that night.

Dr. Lam did the "I'm bored and tired" slow shuffle into my room as if he was irritated by my non-emergency issue. He scheduled a lung x-ray "to be safe" and then for no reason, cancelled it. Nurses gave me a shot, an asthma treatment, drew blood, and gave me an EKG. They were very thorough through the doctor's orders...but the doctor himself couldn't be bothered to tell me WHY he was doing these tests. In the end, I said that I AM getting an x-ray and I WILL sit here until the doctor takes another 20 seconds to tell me how all these tests came out. He came in, gave me an Rx for the same inhaler that didn't work for me (and if he would have asked a few questions, he would have known that) and one other pill which I haven't taken yet. He was very lackluster, visibly bothered to be doctoring, and wanted me to be seen and not heard! I had to ask him to "please listen to me" in order to get him to stop mumbling!

Dr. Lam was the physician on call when I visited the ER two weeks ago. He spent time explaining to me my problem. He accurately diagnosed my problem. I am glad that he took care of me. Thank you very much for your help.

AFTER 3 HRS IN ER HE BARELY LOOKED AT MY SISTER, GAVE ME WRONG PAPERWORK, FAILED TO GIVE REFERRAL AS HE SAID. HANDED ME PAPER SIGNED BI PATIENT THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN FILE, ASKED ME WHAT DO "YOU PEOPLE " USE FOR TRANSPORT SERVICE...WHO ARE " YOU PEOPLE ??'
