Dr. Anthony Dominic Alfieri, DO

RUN away from this doctor as fast a you can because you won't be able to run if you let him treat you!!! I purchased a Groupon for sclerotherapy and when I went for the treatment, I was told I needed a consult with a doctor. Anthony Alfieri examined me and told me that the sclerotherapy wouldn't help at all unless I first had vein reflux surgery. A technician performed a vein study at his Newark office and I later had very expensive reflux surgeries on both legs which resulted in more pain, more swelling and less blood flow than prior to the surgeries. Additionally, the sclerotherapy that he did, was rushed, careless and sloppy and my spider veins are 100% worse than before. I scheduled 2 follow up appointments with him about the problems I was having but all he did was dismiss me, ignore me and show me his abs (that's right, the height of unprofessionalism). Later I received bills for the follow-up visits and nothing was every resolved. There are tons of similar stories on the… internet about this "Doctor" and a nurse practitioner friend says he is In known as "The Worst of the Worst". His brother who is reputable has cut professional ties with him... and that is very telling.

he damaged my wife's leg vein treatment injected in wrong area now has clot in vein not healed after 6 weeks/ now ankle swollen and purple blood not returned to heart/ told my wife TX was medically necessary now says she did it for vanity she 65 yrs old charging me three visits post botch up/ staff nasty says if i don't pay will ruin my credit/comes to work in clothing like he slept in it with dirty worn out shoes hair not combed enters treatment room and asks staff "what are we doing" does not review test has three full time offices and a cardiology practice who can keep up with this many patients/while doing procedure talks about his vacations or family instead on focusing on task/ he too overextended and not safe / i am a christian and don't believe in taking others to court///i been in the medical field for 35 years// RN/BSN since 1983

I have been with Dr Anthony for about 27 years, he has one of the most excellent bedside manners a Great Doctor!!!! He is blessed to have such a Talent for what he does and a very high professional Doctor One of the best Vincent Necastro

Dr. Alfieri explained the risks associated with my procedure and made me feel very comfortable. My procedure went very well and I feel great now. He has an excellent bedside manner and his staff is top notch.

This doctor was extremely unprofessional. The fact that I waited over an hour to be seen wasn’t even the main issue. He made me extremely uncomfortable with his unprofessional comments, had me stand there in my underwear while examining my various veins and commented how he would give me “knock out legs” and that I “was still a 2-piecer” in referring to what bathing suit wear. I’ve never been so uncomfortable in a doctor’s presence in my life. He was lewd and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor. Don’t waste your time on this doctor. Find a caring and professional cardiologist in the area.

Dr. Alfieri treated my spider veins. He was personable, professional and caring. His staff was great!

I waited over 45 minutes before he finally showed up. He was interrupted often, sometimes to take non-emergency phone calls from family. He never asked me about my history or read my medical file. He badmouthed other patients and cursed several times. He kept urging me to take drugs that were only recently FDA approved and have some harsh side effects. He was extremely energetic and spoke very fast, as if he'd had several espressos. He didn't listen to my concerns and didn't believe me when I tried to tell him about my medical history. I'm sure he's a nice man but he has terrible bedside manner and is unprofessional and rude.

Dr, Alfieri,He is a fantastic Dr that will spend time with your issues and with a great bedside manner

Awesome Doctor, He saved my Life at 40 years old. I am now 47 and haven't had a problem since.
