Dr. Anthony Michael Altino, MD

I’m a professional. I saw this doctor while on temporary medical retirement for a few visits and he seemed okay, until I made a comment about the difficulty using the Medicaid system. Being a sociology major, I genuinely wondered out loud if people become suicidal trying to deal with all of this red tape. (Especially if they don’t know how to navigate it, and if I’m having this much trouble with a doctorate.) The staff sent me back to a room and I called someone to have a witness on the phone in case they said that I said I was suicidal, which was not the case at all. He refused to speak while I had a witness on the phone (who was on his way to the office), and finally gave up and asked if I was suicidal, which I assured him I was not. He said ok, but fired me the next week and banned me from all practices with a life threatening condition. I am now assigned one of their doctors through medical on disability, who won’t see me because it’s the same practice, and I am therefore… without medical care until next month... over a misunderstanding in words that common sense would have resolved, knowing my background. He didn’t even have the decency to call and advise he fired me. I showed up for my next appointment and they told me he wasn’t in and to come the next day. I showed up again and they said he has fired me. Beyond unprofessional. I still didn’t post anything negative about him until now when I am assigned to a doctor in his practice by Medicare, but can’t get care bc I am blacklisted.

I’ve been taking my mother to Doctor Altino for over 13 years. She is now 93 . I think Doctor Altino has done a great job.

Dr. Altino bedside manner is very poor. His nurses are very rude and they lie. He tries to get you out of this office as soon as possible. Doesn't read up on your reports before he sees you so he walks in Clueless

Very unprofessional and tried to be a goof ball instead of a doctor. Was very unreasonable after missing a appointment due to my fiancé having neck surgery. Wouldn't even hear me out. sent me to unnecessary tests probably trying to milk my insurance. Don't bother with him. better doctors out there.

Dr.Altino was nice as a doctor ,but his front office staff was rude unprofesional including his office manager she was extremly rude not accepting any compaint . I would not recomended this office.

Dr is a nightmare

Sharp as a tack, picked up on several things that other physicians had missed over the years. He got on top of the problems with the proper medications and referrals to specialists. Breathed new life into this old soldier. He's #1 in my book.

Waited 3 months for appt for them to call me morning of and cancel. And then they offered me an appt for anther month later! Horrible service don't even bother find a doctor office that truly cares of people.
