Dr. Anthony Leo Anker, MD

Dr. Anker should have his medical license revoked. I was seen in the ER and he completely dismissed my symptoms as “anxiety” when in reality I had a festering sinus infection of my sphenoid sinus THAT WAS PRESSING ON MY BRAIN and required surgery to correct AND an incurable vestibular neurological disorder. On one of the worst days of my life, this man didn’t even examine me, falsified the notes in my medical chart, accused me of being a drug seeker, and did nothing to assess or treat me. When I asked for a patient advocate or charge nurse, she said “Oh, that’s just how he is,” and shrugged off his unethical, unprofessional, and dangerous behavior. I could have died and I’m lucky I didn’t. If this man is your ER doctor, walk, run, crawl, or roll to a different emergency department because he is horrible. He definitely violated his oath to do no harm and is discriminatory against women.

Dr. Anker was wonderful with my aunt.
