Dr. Anthony Greg Barnes, MD

Doctor Barnes is a physician who truly cares about his patients. He diagnosed illnesses regarding my husband's health that specialists in Indianapolis were unable to determine. Dr. Barnes is tops. I travel to Frankfort in order to have him as my physician.

I saw Dr. Barnes for the second time today. With his authoritarian manner he refused to listen to anything I had to say about my 77 years of looking after my health, including many years living in third world countries where I was my own doctor. I come from a medical family and have kept up with the medical profession. When I disagreed with him, trying to explain, he got all emotional about my "arguing" with him. Dr. Browne of the Capital physicians (who was fired) was the best doctor I have ever had. She treated me like a colleague. He treated me like an unwelcome troublemaker and gave me 30 days to find another doctor.

Barnes represents what is wrong with the medical establishment. He is arrogant and belittling. If you are a patient in need of medical assistance for an illness you've had previously, don't expect Barnes to consider your input regarding what worked for previous treatments. He knows what's best for you, and that's that. Take exception to him, and you'll be resigned to speaking to his office underlings about your privileged health concerns, or even receive a certified letter under his signature terminating his patient-provider contract with you.

Dr, Barnes is blockhead. He is set in his ways and is unwilling to listen to his patient's thoughts.

Dr. Barnes is extemely pompous and controlling. He isn't very open to the patient's wants or opinions. I will not return

Set in his ways and not open to new ideas or trends. Wants to set his own plan even if what has worked for you for 20 years has been effective. Will change everything just to do it his way. His PA is really good, but he won't listen to the patient.

Ladies beware

I find that Dr. Barnes is attentive toyour problems, takes the time to listenif you have a pacific problem. He explains things so you can understand.I think he is a very good Dr. I think he has his patients wefare in mind. I rate him top of the line, moreso than other Drs.I've been to.
