Dr. Anthony Charles Botti, MD

Dr. Botti is an excellent, caring physician. Takes time with you to make sure that you understand the plan of care, is always available to answer questions. The office staff is also wonderful, caring.

Recently I had the opportunity to visit LSG Infusions. From the initial phone call to make the appt and all the way through the process of verifying my insurance, my experience was excellent in every way possible. Maria, the infusion coordinator, and Dr. Botti, the medical director, could NOT have been more helpful. They answered all my questions and concerns and made me feel very comfortable. The infusion suite is clean and the environment is professional yet friendly. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing an infusion. I couldn't be happier!!!!

Unprofessional and Abusive I reached out to the Dr. Botti’s office to discuss a medical procedure my primary doctor had referred me for… My first call ever into the office they refused to setup my appointment (Maria) unless I was pre-approved through my insurance as this procedure was $1,500 a visit. When I advised that, money wasn’t an issue to just set-me up for my appointment they still refused. My second interaction with the office staff, within 2 minutes I was advised that I was cleared with my insurance but I had a $200 deductible for the procedure, and that I needed to confirm my understanding before we proceeded. All I wanted was to fully understand what the procedure truly was…and was it even necessary. Upon inquiring on the pro & cons and possible side effects with the office staff, I was very quickly transferred to DR. Botti’ directly, I was very surprised and happy to have the opportunity to speak to the doctor directly. This being my first… conversation ever with Dr. Botti, I was shocked when he asked me why I had "goggled", the side effects, and reprimanded me for inquiring on the procedure, I was SHOCKED as he went on and on! I advised him that I was an educated professional and have every right as a patient to inquire on side effects of treatments. Who wouldn't do online research these days I thought to myself... He berated me at length, and ended the call with “I wouldn’t take you as a patient regardless because you’re asking too many questions and you are negative” I felt so violated...I was left speechless, he should not have the right to speak to patients in this manner. If they spent the same amount of time discussing the procedure as they did discussing the financials, they would put patients at easy. I called my primary doctor to complain, they are referring me to another doctor. ASK QUESTIONS...and if a doctor refuses to answer, then he's not the right match.

Dr. Botti was physically abusive. After reporting him to the Primary Care Doctor who recommended Dr. Botti, she replied that she has heard more of these instances lately about doctors and wasn’t sure if they were overworked or what. Please always check njconsumeraffairs.gov for complaint and malpractice history before selecting a doctor.

Took exceptional care and was truly caring

the whole staff was great. I didn't spend much time with Dr. Botti but he made it a point to introduce himself to me and let me know that he would be spending more time with me on my next visit.

Dr Anthony Botti is a sweetheart he treated my mother and my husband. I found him to be an excellent doctor patient, informative,and professional in every aspect. I would recommend him to family and to my friends.

Never have I encountered a doctor more abrasive and demeaning than Mr. Botti. I called to ask a question about a prescription he gave, and he was instantly combative and angry. I would not recommend anyone deal with his unprofessionalism.
