I’ve been a patient of Doc’s for 11 years. He is one of the very few doctors out there that actually take the time and listens to each patient carefully, so he can see the whole picture and their actual need for chronic pain control , when other doctors may “write you off” or just give up, out of frustration for just not knowing how to help or treat us. He respects and trusts that you know your own body better than anyone else . You are not just a number to him, like many other doctors. He never makes you feel rushed and generally cares about his patients. He needs to get to know you and any health goals you may have ( short term and long term) . He needs that whole complete picture of your personal situation, like medical history and occupation, so he can, along with the patient, ( by educating us first ), decide what course of action or combination of actions that we will want to take, that will help give us the best and most realistic outcome. And he won’t give up or stop trying… until he finds something that actually works . Once he runs the appropriate tests and gives a thorough assessment, he may refer you to another specialty doctor/surgeon if needing a particular surgical procedure. If after his assessment, while working closely with your PCP, he will again addresses the chronic pain control that is needed for you to live as comfortably and pain free as realistically possible. This staff that works with Doc is also “top notch”, giving excellent patient care from the time you show up until you leave. He will do what is best for your individual body’s needs accordingly. If ever you need to have a procedure, he will take care of the acute post-op pain as well, until that is ready to be discontinued, ) , and then will go back to the chronic pain management, if you both feel it’s needed. By then , he may have other pain management options for you, that he will share with you, so you can decide together what will be best for your individual needs. I know this is long but I felt I needed to share it all because these are some of the things I would want to know myself if looking for a great doctor. And he is, my friends, a great doctor! Dr.C is an excellent doctor. He always listens and discusses my options to control my pain issues. The staff is just wonderful. Always so nice and knowledgeable about what is going on with me. I would highly recommend this office and I have to many friends and family.
