Dr. Desantis is such a kind and compassionate healthcare provider. He is personable and takes the time and care to explain things very throughly and in a way that his patients can understand. He provides information to ensure you have a well rounded perspective, and if you ask he will also provide his recommendation on what he believes your best course of action is. I couldn't ask for a better healthcare provider, period.

I travelled a long ways to see him and as soon as he stepped in the door, he pretty much said there's nothing I can do for you. His favorite phrases were "we can agree to disagree" and "I cannot in good faith" which he repeated multiple times. I wanted to have a test done for a specific condition that I thought I might have, he said he cannot in good faith recommend it. Huh? I asked him if it was an expensive test, he said no. And the test isn't harmful. So what's his reason for refusing it? He refuses to elaborate on his "cannot in good faith" statement. I asked him whether I just supposed to accept the problems I'm having without any recourse, and he ACTUALLY SAID YES!! Good thing my insurance covers most of this visit. Avoid this guy like the plague. He has no qualms about not offering any help or solutions to your medical problems.

Dr. DeSantis litteraly saved my life. What a compassionate and knowledgedable man that gave me my life back.

I read the reviews expecting a great doctor. What I got intead was anintern that appeared to know less than I did. After the intern spent several minutes demonstrating he did not read my chart and clearly didn't know what he was doing Dr Desantis appeared. He spent maybe 10 minutes with me and when I had an urgent call in it took 7 days to hear back. In fact, his internt never replied at all they finally paged him, he offered me no solutions and was pretty much indifferent. I'm not coming back, find an MD that will spend more than 10 minutes with a new patient.

Dr. Desantis has a great bedside manner and is never rushed but takes time to explain and then makes sure you are understanding everything he is telling you. He even calls the house to check up on the patient or to discuss issues. He is great!
