Dr. Anthony L Fangman, MD

I am a board certified Internist and Pediatrician who has been practicing with Saint Luke's since 2001. I have been a full time Hospitalist since 2002 and Medical Director for the Hospitalist Group since 2007. Our group has grown from 8 physicians when I joined the group to 28 regular Hospitalists, 5 Night Hospitalists, 4 Nurse Practitioners and 4 Nurses. I have helped develop our standing orders, policies and procedures, Night Hospitalist System, Peer Review System, Electronic Billing System, Executive Committee, Schedule Committee and Hospitalist Teaching Service. Our group practices at Saint Luke's North, Saint Luke's South and Saint Luke's Hospital. I am developing outreach programs starting at Hedrick Medical Center and Western Missouri Medical Center in the fall of 2013 that will rely on a new eMedicine service for Hospitalists. My personal practice philosophy is to treat patients as if they were your family and focus on quality which is aligned with lower cost if done correctly.
