Dr. Anthony T Han, MD

Dr. Han was very efficient, as I see it. My first appointment with him was a thorough examination of my pain causes and history. As he examined me he called out vertabrae points to a nurse who made annotations in my record. I imagine those were the points designated as the source of pain. About a month later, I was appointment to go in for the performance of the Radion Frequency Ablation. I was mentally put out and do not recall anything after he told to lay flat on the table face down. The nex thing I realized was I was sitting in my car, my wife drove me home, in my driveway. I sat in bed, ate something, took a nap, watched some tv and then I got up - pain free for the first time in over six years. I walked around in the house a few times told my wife that I had no pain and she rejoiced with me. We thanked God first and then Dr. Han and the staff at the Eastside locatiion. I had a followup with him about three months later and I told him that I was still pain free. He scheduled me… for another followup in 4 months, but then he was gone. Sad thing!

Dr. Han was quick to say that the surgeons had screwed up and that he potentially could solve my problems. In addition he wondered why I wasn't taking any stronger drugs--(because I need to drive and work?). This was off putting, but the PA is a delight

He is a Dr. of Anesthesiology. I didn't know they handed out Doctor's degrees in that. I guess if they hand out doctor's degrees for animals then I guess it shouldn't surprise me that he is called a doctor. Yet when you need medication for a procedure he can't do that. I would make sure to reconsider going to this so called doctor.

Treated my moms like she was a drug addict and made her feel like it was her fault she had sarcoid and her fault her passed doctors gave her certain medications. He's an idiot and I don't recommend anyone to see him

Dr. Han was extremely rude and condescending to us. Started patronizing my wife when she stated about numbness in her body. Kept interrupting her when she tried to talk and would not let her finish. Never asked about previous diagnosis she had from other doctors. He wanted to use a 10 month old MRI instead of ordering a new one. Just really brash with patients. If you have to see him or get referred to see him, God be with you on your journey.

I first Dr. Han in 2102 while he was at Texas Tech Pain Management. He performed a series of injections on me that seemed to work,at first. However after Tim, they no longer worked. Then he did the radiofrequency ablation. Amazing job!!! I have been very happy and have recently gone back to see him again while at El Paso Pain Center. Still the same sweet, funny doctor! I have a lot of respect for him because he had given me an injection and it didn't seem to help and he ordered an MRI instead of just giving me another shot. He is very thorough. However, as a patient, it is my responsibility to ask questions about the process instead of expect them to just tell me everything. If I have specific questions, I write them down And ask him. He sits with me and answers anything that I have to ask him.

Doctor was in a rush, did not address what I scheduled an "emergency appointment" for and did not come back in the room to let me know what was going on. All he said was I need to schedule to have the same unsuccessful procedure done by him. He even had one of the staff come in the tell me to wait in the waiting room. Unprofessional and does not spend a lot of time with the patient because "it is a busy doctors office"
