Dr. Anthony Vito Kamerschen, MD

Normally I don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this so others could have the same experience I did. Remember those days when doctors were friendly, personable, spoke to you in easy terms, wanted to get to know you, didn't just quickly prescribe something, but was always there to help you? I am so happy to report Dr. Kamerschen is a throwback to those good old days. I couldn't recommend him more highly, and I couldn't agree more with a prior reviewer who stated this community is lucky to have Dr. Kamerschen practicing in the Escanaba area. I am new to the area and just had my first appointment with Dr. Kamerschen. When he entered the exam room, he profusely apologized for being late. By normal doctor standards, he certainly wasn't late, and it was only because the Ash Wednesday service ran long. Still, he was very sorry and made sure to tell me he normally isn't late to his appointments. It was a very refreshing first impression. Throughout my first appointment, he… got to know me and I got to know him. Just the kind of relationship you'd love to have with your doctor. I love his concept that you are driving a car through your life with him in the passenger seat next to you. You are driving, and he is there to help. He won't grab the wheel from you, and instead is there when you need him. Five stars all the way.

He is a wonderful doctor who listen to you. Excellent bedside manners and a very caring man, not to mention one heck of a good doctor!

I swear I will punch anyone who ever gives Dr. Kamerschen less than five stars. Luckily that hasn't happened yet, and, let's face it, probably never will. This man deserves all the awards. The Escanaba area is beyond lucky to have him and I hope his patients appreciate him; I know I do. He deserves it.

I cannot recommend Dr. Kamerschen highly enough. He is a superb physician -- incredibly bright and knowledgeable, eager to listen, very willing to research and consult with other doctors, and has a bedside manner that is second to none. Many doctors are wonderful, but he is a gem. Smart, humble, compassionate, good-natured and kind, Dr. Kamerschen is the doctor that you wish all doctors could be.

Dr. Kamerschen is a wonderful physician who seems to truly be invested in his patient's health and well being. He is very kind, compassionate, and a great listener. You can't help but feel in good hands -- he is an incredibly trustworthy doctor.

Great doctor! Very caring, thorough, and listens to his patients. Seriously, you can tell he cares about his patients in all aspects of care. Great bedside manner, respectful and honest. I think he was wonderful!

Dr. Kamerschen has an excellent bedside manner and you can tell he really cares about your symptoms/conditions and wants to help you get better. He is very knowledgible, yet if he knows that someone knows more or has more experience than he does in some area, he won't hesitate to consult with them to be sure he's taking the correct course of action for you. I am very happy that I found him so shortly after moving to the area. Finding a new doctor that you can trust and feel comfortable with is not always easy. I got lucky. I would recommend him to anyone and in fact have had my fiance go see him as well since his PCP is usually booked out months away. My fiance is very happy with Dr. Kamerschen and likes him a lot as well.
