Dr. Anthony Joseph Lacorte, MD

The very best doctor I've ever had and I'm now 70 so I've had a few doctors. If he hadn't moved to a new office that was too far from me, I would never have gotten a new doctor. He is the very best in every way. Some people were bothered by him running late on appointment times, but believe me he took however much time it took to treat a patient correctly. Sometimes you might be the one was causing him to run a bit late but I'm sure you appreciated that time he took with you. He was simply "the best," in every way. I truly wish that he was still my doctor and he would be if only he were closer to me. You won't be disappointed.

He was my dr when I was admitted to the hospital in Lancaster. He took his time, listened carefully and diagnosed the problem that several other doctors could not. He does not rush you and will talk to you about anything. I would recommend him highly.

I have lived in 9 states over the last 40 years and I can easily say Dr. Lacorte is in my top 3 doctors I have ever used to manage my healthcare. He is knowledgeable both in "conventional" and "homeopathic" medicines and treatments. He is usually not timely with his appointments but that is because he give each patient the amount of time that they need which is what I am looking for in a doctor. His diagnosis has been accurate and he know when to give you a referral to a specialist. I have lived in PA 2 different time and have used him both times. When he moved his practice to Gap I tried another doctor but quickly found myself driving the hour to Gap to rejoin his practice. My wife and I have been using Dr. Lacorte for 15 years. She now travels annual from our Florida home just to have him do her annual physical. If you are looking for a knowledgeable doctor with a great bedside manner who will focus on your overall healthcare and knows when to call in the specialist this is your… doctor.

The doctors wife is at the desk and is very curt and uncaring even on the phone. The records they keep are unorganized and they can't find test results most of the time. I get the impression the doc wants to quit practicing and stay home with his 5 kids. He has the office manned with his wife's sisters and they have NO knowledge of the medical field. We left him years ago after getting so frustrated with them not returning phone calls and I feel for anyone going there, you will be very disappointed. The wife thinks she's a doctor and she is not. There are so many caring docs and office staff elsewhere, don't go here.

I made an appointment for my mother who has a lot of health issues regarding diabetes and congested heart disease. Not knowing what to expect from this doctor or his skills, given I was not referred by anyone. My first impression of this Dr and his office staff was amazement. We waited 15 min or less before they called us back to a room. We did not have enough time to complete the demographic or complaint forms. At this point I'm thinking this place is simply ok nothing out of ordinary Dr Offices or routine intake process. However the nurse was very polite and knowledgeable. I have kids, myself and my mom to take care of so I have been to different medical facilities. Dr's usually seem in a hurry and rush you through the first visit or even blow you off as no big deal when you share a concern. But Dr. Lacorte, he took his time to listen and examine my mothers every complaint and concerns. He seemed knowledgeable and on some things he was unsure of he researched it and got back to us.… We had discussed my treatment plan before I left his office. I felt at ease and very content with my first visit. The staff made me feel very comfortable. I truly am very satisfied with my decision to have him as my primary Dr.

Dr. LaCorte has been my internist for several years. He is everything that an old fashioned physician is, with regard to bedside manner and compassion, coupled to today's modern, evidence based approach to the practice of medicine. I recommend him very highly!

While I Like him personally the follow up is poor. I do not get called with results and must seek him out. I get results mailed to me by the hospital or testing facility sometimes months before I hear from his staff.Also, I've been called to schedule tests that I have already taken but they are unaware do to, in my opinion, poor record keeping.

I recommend him constantly to other people as a doctor he's tops, recently he underwent a staff change, and some of them are less than desireable as ability, and follow-up care is concerned, and thats not the Doctor's responsibility, he depends on his staff to take the right course of action and they are lacking in a lot of areas, he needs to re-evaluate his staff.

Looking for a new family doctor. This guy is a waste of my time. He has been rude to me, Does not listen to what I am saying. Thinks all I want is pain pills. I have several different health things going on and all he want to do is put me on anti- depressing pills. Hello I am not depress.

He is extremely knowlegable, gives me the feeling he really understands what is going on w/ me. Staff is excellent, go out of their way to schedule to my liking.
