PHILOSOPHY AND THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

I go by Tony, and I would love to help you with your marriage and family struggles, your trauma and anxieties, your upsets and surprises, or just your pursuit of growth in life or stewardship. I have done everything from working with prisoners to consulting with entrepreneurs. I am a Christian in my own worldview, but I use the best evidence-based research to help my clients. I am currently completing a PhD in marriage and family therapy.

Therapy is not just for broken people; it is for everyone who wants to grow.

So, no matter where you are or what your background, it does not matter – there is help here for you.

I hope we meet, and you let me help you find your truth, purpose, and identity. You may be in a place where it is hard to trust or …simply hard to share. Regardless, just showing up as you are with all your baggage is the best way to begin. Then we work on trusting and moving forward together at the pace that is right for you.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THERAPY

There is no one size fits all. Therapy is unique to you and your circumstances. You will develop your therapy goals with me and a treatment plan, then you will move at your pace.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

I have over 25 years' experience in different types of teaching and helping others through the tools of counseling, consulting, program development, and simply serving. I have been a Marine Corps enlisted and officer, pastor, missionary, a poop collector (Yep! I drove one of those trucks all day every day!), a construction worker, pizza delivery guy, ranch hand, etc.

Perhaps, my greatest qualification is that I have lived a complicated human life with lots of ups and downs, hurts and healings, failures and victories. I've been rejected, accepted, betrayed, condemned, encouraged, rewarded, beat down, lifted up, misunderstood, and confused.

PERSONAL LIFE AND INTERESTS

I love to write, play instruments and sing, adventure, learn about other cultures, and make movies. But most of all I love being wherever my family and friends are. I live in Colorado Springs with my wife of 18 years and 5 children. They are all girls except for the 4 oldest boys.
