Not long ago I discussed having surgery with him and I felt he was inexperienced and he seemed irritated that I took too much of his time in asking questions. Needless to say I was disapointed. His caring staff was the only bright side to my visit there.

Excellent experience. I was treated with the utmost respect, and was back to normal activity two days after my knee surgery.

Dr. Longo does not have the best bedside manner. At times he is abrupt and condescending. When a patient has had surgery and needs to do only moderate exercise until able to return to full exercise regime, you don't tell them they can do whatever they feel like doing 3 days after knee surgery. Great way to reinjure the knee and give him more business. He is also rather condescending to females, and tends to treat them as if they have no brains. That comment came from my own physician!
